Our Lady of Fatima Parish – Balulang

With hearts filled with joy, the faithful of Our Lady of Fatima Parish – Balulang gathered to celebrate the triumph of life over death in the Sugat and the Easter Sunday Mass.

The Sugat reminds us of the joyful encounter between the Risen Christ and His Blessed Mother—transforming sorrow into hope. In the Holy Eucharist, we proclaim with gladness that Christ is truly risen!

Sa maong selebrasyon, atong gisaulog ang kadaugan ni Kristo batok sa kamatayon. Ang kasubo nahimong kalipay, ug ang kangitngit napulihan sa kahayag sa pagkabanhaw.

May the joy of the Resurrection renew our faith and inspire us to live as witnesses of hope, love, and new life.

Kristo Nabanhaw! Alleluia!

In the stillness of the night, the faithful of Our Lady of Fatima Parish – Balulang gathered to celebrate the Easter Vigil—the mother of all vigils—proclaiming Christ’s victory over sin and death.

From the blessing of the new fire and water, to the baptism of adult catechumens, and the renewal of baptismal promises and lay-liturgical vows, we are reminded of our call to new life in Christ.

Sa kahilom sa gabii, atong gisaulog ang pagdaog ni Kristo batok sa sala ug kamatayon. Pinaagi sa bag-ong kalayo ug tubig, kita gipahinumduman sa atong bag-ong kinabuhi diha Kaniya—gitawag sa paglakaw sa kahayag sa pagkabanhaw.

May this sacred night renew our faith, strengthen our commitment, and fill our hearts with the light of the Risen Lord.

IN PHOTOS | Good Friday: Liturgy of the Word, Veneration of the Cross, and Procession of Santo Entierro and Nuestra Señora de la Soledad

The faithful of Our Lady of Fatima Parish – Balulang gathered in solemn remembrance of the Passion and Death of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Through the Liturgy of the Word, we reflected on Christ’s ultimate sacrifice. In the Veneration of the Cross, we honored the very instrument of our salvation. And in the sacred procession of the Santo Entierro and Nuestra Señora de la Soledad, we walked in prayerful silence—accompanying the Lord in His burial and sharing in the sorrow of our Blessed Mother.

Sa maong mga seremonyas, atong gihandom ang dako nga gugma ni Kristo nga naghalad sa iyang kinabuhi alang sa kaluwasan sa tanan. Uban sa Mahal nga Birhen, kita nagpadayon sa paglaum bisan sa kasakit ug kasubo.

May this sacred observance lead us to deeper repentance, gratitude, and hope as we await the joy of the Resurrection.

The faithful of Our Lady of Fatima Parish – Balulang prayerfully journeyed through the Via Crucis, meditating on the passion and suffering of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Each station invites us to walk with Christ in His path of love—embracing sacrifice, carrying our crosses, and trusting in God’s saving plan.

Sa matag estasyon, atong gihandum ang kasakit ug gugma ni Kristo alang sa kaluwasan sa tanan. Hinaut nga ang maong pagpamalandong magdasig kanato sa pagpadayon sa pagtoo ug paglaum bisan sa kalisdanan.

“We adore You, O Christ, and we bless You, because by Your Holy Cross You have redeemed the world.”

“Do this in memory of me.”

The faithful of Our Lady of Fatima Parish – Balulang gathered in solemn celebration of the Mass of the Lord’s Supper, marking the beginning of the Sacred Paschal Triduum.

In this sacred liturgy, we commemorate the institution of the Holy Eucharist and the Priesthood, and witness the profound act of humility in the Washing of the Feet—Christ’s example of selfless love and service.

May this celebration deepen our faith and inspire us to live a life of humble service, following the command of the Lord.

Sa maong panagtigum, gipahinumduman kita sa gugma ug pag-alagad ni Kristo—nga kita usab gitawag sa pagpakabana ug pagserbisyo sa uban.
