The Ascension marks the completion of Jesus’ mission, His return to the Father with His work accomplished. It is the climax of His words and deeds for our salvation. Yet it is not the end, for while Jesus is now in glory with the Father, He remains with us in Spirit: “Lo, I am with you always.”

The feast of the Ascension highlights Jesus’ exaltation and heavenly reign. His glorification at the Father’s right hand began at the Resurrection, and this feast celebrates His authority over the continuing plan of salvation through the Holy Spirit, beyond time and space.

Together, Jesus’ passion, death, Resurrection, Ascension, and the sending of the Holy Spirit form one unified mystery of faith. The Ascension proclaims that Christ, having completed His saving work, now reigns with the Father in glory—fulfilling the vision of the prophet Daniel: “To him was given dominion and glory and kingdom… his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away” (CCC #664).

The message of Our Lady of Fatima is filled with hope. As she warned of future wars, death and persecution, she didn’t request anything that surpassed our abilities. Instead, she reminded us that prayer, the offering of our sufferings and our own conversion were powerful means of transforming history. She reminded us that, as Christians, we can only bear fruit if we abide in Christ.

𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐩𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐦𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 | Today, millions of people continue to suffer from hunger. This threatens the dignity of the most vulnerable and questions the way we live and share our resources.

Lord of creation,
You gave us the fertile earth and, with it, our daily bread,
as a sign of Your love and providence.
Today we recognize with sorrow
that millions of brothers and sisters continue to suffer from hunger,
while so many goods are wasted at our tables.

Awaken in us a new awareness:
that we learn to thank for every food,
to consume simply,
to share with joy,
and to care for the fruits of the earth as a gift from You,
destined for all, not just a few.

Good Father,
make us capable of transforming the logic of selfish consumption
into a culture of solidarity.
May our communities promote concrete gestures:
awareness campaigns, food banks,
and a sober and responsible lifestyle.

You who sent us Your beloved Son Jesus,
broken bread for the life of the world,
give us a new heart, hungry for justice and thirsty for fraternity.
May no one be excluded from the common table,
and may Your Spirit teach us to see bread
not as an object of consumption,
but as a sign of communion and care.

Iginawad ang sertipiko ng pagkilala at imahen ng Mahal na Birhen kina Gng. Emerita S. Carillo at Gng. Rosa N. Babista bilang tanda ng pagpapahalaga sa kanilang pagiging tapat na ilaw ng tahanan at inspirasyon sa pananampalataya.

Gayundin, binasbasan ng ating kura paroko, Reb. P. Jaime Malanum, ang lahat ng mga ina na dumalo sa misa. Kaakibat nito ang taimtim na panalangin para sa kanilang kalusugan, lakas, at patuloy na paggabay sa kani-kanilang mga tahanan.

𝙋𝙧𝙖𝙮𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙤 𝙎𝙩. 𝙅𝙤𝙨𝙚𝙥𝙝 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙚𝙧𝙨

St. Joseph, by the work of your hands and the sweat of your brow, you supported Jesus and Mary, and had the Son of God as your fellow worker.

Teach me to work as you did, with patience and perseverance, for God and for those whom God has given me to support. Teach me to see in my fellow workers the Christ who desires to be in them, that I may always be charitable and forbearing towards all.

Grant me to look upon work with the eyes of faith, so that I shall recognize in it my share in God’s own creative activity and in Christ’s work of our redemption, and so take pride in it.

When it is pleasant and productive, remind me to give thanks to God for it. And when it is burdensome, teach me to offer it to God, in reparation for my sins and the sins of the world. Amen.

PANALANGIN | Pumanaw ka, Hesus, subalit ang Bukal ng Buhay ay bumalong para sa mga kaluluwa at ang Karagatan ng Awa ay bumugso para sa sanlibutan.

O Bukal ng Buhay, Walang Hanggang Awa ng Diyos, yakapin mo ang sangkatauhan at ibuhos mong ganap ang iyong sarili para sa aming lahat.

O Banal na Dugo at Tubig na dumaloy mula sa Puso ni Hesus bilang Bukal ng Awa para sa aming lahat, kami ay nananalig sa iyo.

𝑹𝒆𝒋𝒐𝒊𝒄𝒆, 𝑪𝒉𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒕 𝒉𝒂𝒔 𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒆𝒏!

Easter is an invitation to embrace a new and transformed way of living. Our Risen Lord offers renewal by planting within us a peace that steadies the heart, a joy that quietly flourishes, and a vision and version of ourselves that are not defined by our flaws but illuminated by the truth that we are loved.

From this awareness, everything shifts. Life takes on a new depth, and hope begins to color even the most familiar moments.

Mas pinatingkad ang pagdiriwang ng Muling Pagkabuhay ng Panginoon sa pamamagitan ng salubungang prusisyon ni Kristong Muling Nabuhay at ng Mahal na Birhen. Sinundan ito ng rito at ang pagsungkit ng anghel ng belo ng pagluluksa ng Mahal na Ina.

Ang buong prusisyon at salubong ay nagsilbing makapangyarihang paalala ng tagumpay ng buhay laban sa kamatayan, at ng pag-asa na hatid ng Muling Pagkabuhay ni Kristo.
