“Beloved, this is Christ’s promise for you. A home. A home without suffering, pain, and tears, but more than that. A home where we will spend all eternity with our Saviour. As David said in Psalm 84:10, ‘For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness.’”
-Bro. Christian Dantes

We look forward to Christ’s promises because we know that we will be with Him in eternity in sinless perfection.

“But suffering should not make us hopeless but more hopeful. Tribulations should not make us faithless but more faithful. Why? 1 Peter 1:3: We have a living hope through the risen Christ. And according to Hebrews 6:19, this hope we have is an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast. And we have a faith that is sure, and what will this faith do? It says in 1 John 5:4, ‘For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.’”

—Bro. Christian Dantes

God has promised us an eternal rest and provision in the person of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He is rest incarnate. May God give us the faith to endure until the end and to find rest in Him.

Knowing the bitterness of the root of discontentment, that it springs from a heart that doubts God's goodness, we must ask: how do we uproot this worldly craving? The answer isn't found in having more of this world, but in realizing we already have everything in Christ.
—Bro. Christian Dantes

The greatest treasure that we can have is faith in Christ, and in God’s mercy and grace, He has given us life that we may have faith. In this, our hearts should lie content.

Happy Lord’s Day!
