Today, we commemorate St. Francis of Assisi, a humble servant of God and a faithful witness of peace, simplicity, and love for all creation.

St. Francis is the Patron Saint of Animals and Ecology, and is also associated with the care of nature and creation. His deep love for Godโ€™s creation reminds us of our responsibility to protect, respect, and care for the world entrusted to us.

His life continues to inspire us to embrace humility, compassion, simplicity, and wholehearted service to God and others.

Today, the Church lovingly remembers Our Lady of Sorrows, honoring Mary as the Mother who stood faithfully beside the Cross and shared deeply in the suffering of her beloved Son, Jesus Christ.

In her sorrows, Mary teaches us the beauty of steadfast faith, quiet strength, and unwavering trust in God.

May Our Lady of Sorrows accompany all who carry burdens, grief, pain, and struggles. May she teach us to remain faithful amid trials and to unite our sufferings with the Cross of Christ.
