Logos. The living word.
The book of John says: The Word was first, the Word present to God, God present to the Word. The Word was God, in readiness for God from day one. Everything was created through him; nothing—not one thing! — came into being without him.
What came into existence was Life, and the Life was Light to live by. The Life–Light blazed out of the darkness; the darkness couldn't put it out.
WE ARE A CHRISTIAN ORGANIZATION.
Christians not merely in name but most especially in action. We can call ourselves Christian organization because it is Christ's love for us that compels and propels us to be who we are. All of this is because of Christ who loved all of us—you, me and everyone—first.
INTENTIONALLY MISSIONAL.
We want as many people as possible to hear and know of God's deep love and His saving grace for humanity. Everything we do is guided by this. You might say we are on a mission—the great commission mission.
CATERING TO THE NEEDS OF PEOPLE.
We believe that love and grace are verbs. God showed this to us when he sent (also a verb) his Son for our salvation. So armed with God's love and his grace we aim to minister to people on every level: emotionally, mentally, physically and most especially spiritually.
UPHOLDING THE BIBLE.
The Bible. 66 separate books. 1,189 chapters. 40 different authors. Works spanning 1,500 years. With one unified and life-changing message: God's love for us. It's the only book we hold high.
PASSING THIS LEGACY ON TO THE NEXT GENERATION.
The gift that God gave us is wonderful. It is life-changing. It is so great that it must be shared to the next person and all the way to the next generation. When we do this we not only join in God's rescue-plan for mankind, but we take part in His constant work in making the world a much better place.
