Fides et Ratio

The Culmination Night marked the successful conclusion of Philosophy Week 2026 under the theme Fides et Ratio.
The evening featured the presentation of short documentary videos prepared by the three seminarian groups, each offering creative and insightful interpretations of the relationship between faith and reason. Through their works, the seminarians demonstrated collaboration, creativity, and philosophical reflection. The program also included the awarding of winners from the various activities held throughout the week.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the judges for the Short Documentary presentations: Rev. Fr. Gerald A. Cortez, Director of Radio Maria Philippines; Rev. Fr. Dean Jerome C. Cruz, Director of the Social Communications of the Diocese of Cabanatuan; and Rev. Fr. Paulo G. Barbacias, Formator of the St. John Paul II Minor Seminary in Antipolo, for generously sharing their expertise and insights. We also thank Sir Louis D. Balana for serving as judge for the Philosophical Art Exhibit.
Special recognition is also given to our Rector, Most Rev. Rufino C. Sescon Jr., DD., for his unwavering support and encouragement throughout the celebration. We likewise acknowledge the efforts and guidance of our formators: Rev. Fr. Anthony R. Sibug, Rev. Fr. Jesus R. Navoa, Rev. Fr. Tristan Ralf Q. Pacheco, Rev. Carlo M. Vizon, Sem. R-Jay T. Cunanan, and Sem. Frinz S. Narcisco.
We also express our appreciation to our guests, Mrs. Shayne Sablan, Bro. John Michael San Miguel, and Sir Noel Trillana, for their presence and participation in making Philosophy Week 2026 more meaningful and memorable.
Finally, we commend all the seminarians for their active participation and wholehearted efforts throughout the celebration. May the spirit of Fides et Ratio continue to inspire everyone in the pursuit of truth, wisdom, and deeper understanding.
