TINGNAN | Ginanap ngayon sa opisina ng Diocesan Catechetical Commission ang pulong ng mga Head Catechists.

Layunin ng pulong na ito ay ang mga sumusunod: Una, kumustahin ang mga Katekista sa pangunguna ng mga Heads ng bawat parokya. At pinagbahaginan ang naging pagbisita ng mga Katekista sa mga Paaralan bilang simula ng kanilang pormal na pagtuturo ng Katesismo sa mga bata.

Pangalawa, inilatag at pinag-usapan ang mga gawain at programa para sa mga Katekista.

Pangatlo, tinalakay rin ang mga mas maagang pag-aanyaya sa mga nagnanais maging Katekista. Ang nasabing recruitment ay isasagawa sa darating ng buwan ng Oktubre 2026.

40th Day Commemoration | July 22, 2026

Today, we commemorate the 40th day of passing for +Rev. Fr. Ernie De Leon. We offer our prayers for his eternal rest and give thanks for his dedicated service to the Lord.

‘Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen.’

PRESENTING THE OFFICIAL LOGO OF THE NATIONAL EVANGELIZATION AND CATECHETICAL MONTH 2026

"DUMNGEG (Listen): Synodal Journey for ONE Mission"

With great joy, we unveil the official logo of this year's National Evangelization and Catechetical Month (NECM) 2026.

The logo beautifully expresses the heart of this year's theme, "Dumngeg (Listen): Synodal Journey for ONE Mission." The Ilocano word "Dumngeg" means "Listen", inviting every catechist, evangelizer, and member of the faithful to open their hearts to God's Word, to the promptings of the Holy Spirit, and to one another as we journey together in faith.

At the center of the logo is the ear, symbolizing the Church's call to become a listening community. The Cross reminds us that authentic listening is always rooted in Jesus Christ, while the flowing lines and circles represent the People of God walking together in communion, participation, and mission.

May this logo inspire us to become a Church that listens before it speaks, accompanies before it leads, and journeys together in proclaiming the Good News.

Let us all unite in celebrating the National Evangelization and Catechetical Month 2026 and continue building a synodal Church that listens, journeys together, and shares in Christ's one mission.
