“𝐇𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞; 𝐇𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐧, 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐬 𝐇𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐢𝐝.” – 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐰 𝟐𝟖:𝟔 🌅

Jesus is alive! Early in the morning, the women went to the tomb and found it empty. The stone was rolled away, and an angel told them the good news that Jesus had risen just like He promised. They were scared at first, but they were also full of joy. On their way, Jesus met them and they worshipped Him. What looked like the end turned out to be the greatest beginning.

Later that day, Jesus showed Himself to His disciples. He gave them peace and reminded them that He had won over death. Today, let us be reminded that Easter is not just about an empty tomb, it is about a living Savior who gives us hope and new life.

𝙏𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙘𝙧𝙤𝙨𝙨, 𝙬𝙚 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙝𝙤𝙥𝙚. 𝙏𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙃𝙞𝙨 𝙙𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙝, 𝙬𝙚 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚. ✝️

This Good Friday, Jesus was wrongly accused, beaten, mocked, and nailed to a cross. Though He could have stopped the suffering, He chose to carry it all including the heavy burden of our sins. He did not run away from pain, rather, He embraced it so that we could be free.

Even in His final hours, Jesus showed compassion. He forgave a thief, comforted His mother, and offered paradise to a repentant soul. As darkness fell and the earth trembled, Jesus gave His last breath not in defeat, but in surrender. At last, He committed His spirit to the Father and completed the mission of saving the world.

Today, let us commemorate Jesus' great sacrifice through quiet worship, reflection, and prayer. Though it is a day marked by sorrow, let us remember that is also filled with gratitude. Truly, what Jesus finished on that cross changed everything forever.

𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙣𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙅𝙚𝙨𝙪𝙨 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙙 𝙪𝙨 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙡𝙮 𝙢𝙚𝙖𝙣𝙨. 🫓🍷

Jesus, in His final moments before the cross, gave us a love that served without hesitation. He washed the feet of His disciples, shared bread and wine that pointed to His sacrifice, and left them with a commandment to love as He loved which is completely, humbly, and without condition. The Last Supper was not only a farewell meal, but a moment of deep communion and the beginning of His Passion.

In Gethsemane, His heart trembled in agony, yet He still chose the will of the Father over His own. This night reminds us that love is not always easy, but it is always worth it. Jesus stayed, prayed, and obeyed to show us that in every trial, God's grace will carry us through.

We all have those moments where we feel like we are falling short, whether in our studies, friendships, or even our faith. We all have our own struggles, but here is the beautiful truth: 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝘄𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆. 🙆‍♀️💜

Indeed, it was a moment of reflection, worship and deep encounters with the Lord. We are beyond grateful to our fellow YFCs, our Adviser, Sir Louis Balana, our titos and titas from Couples for Christ, and even the non-YFC Peninsulares who joined us in this spirit-filled gathering. Your presence made this event even more meaningful and served as a reminder that no matter where we are in this journey, God calls each and everyone of us.
