A LIVING AND POWERFUL TESTIMONY OF GOD’S MIRACLE
August 1993 — Balanga City, Bataan
More than three decades ago, a powerful testimony unfolded in Balanga City, Bataan, under circumstances remarkably similar to what we are experiencing today—heavy rain and a powerful storm.
The Jesus Miracle Crusade International Ministry held a great crusade in the province, led by our beloved Honorable Evangelist Wilde E. Almeda and our beloved Mama Dear Lina C. Almeda.
In the midst of the sacred gathering, a very heavy downpour began to make the crusade extremely difficult. As the Jesus Finest Generation Choir continued singing, the rain kept pouring relentlessly. The singers were soaked, the entire congregation was drenched, and even the new visitors who had come to attend were caught in the rain. At that time, the plaza in Balanga had no covered court and no shelter where the people could take refuge.
Seeing the difficult situation of the crusade, our Beloved Honorable Pastor Wilde E. Almeda stepped outside and prayed to our Dearest Jesus, asking Him to stop the rain and the strong winds.
Then, something miraculous happened.
It was only a matter of moments before the rain suddenly stopped. The strong winds ceased. The clouds opened—and to the amazement of many, the stars appeared in the sky!
What a mighty demonstration of the power of our Dearest Lord Jesus Christ!
This was one of the many great miracles that our Loving Savior Jesus Christ has graciously bestowed upon His sacred work, His prophet, and His holy church. It is a testimony that reminds us that when God’s people call upon Him in faith, He is able to move even in the midst of the storm.
To You alone, our Dearest Lord Jesus Christ, belong the highest praise, glory, honor, and thanksgiving!
