Our bodies are not our own. But they are temples of the Holy Spirit. Honoring God in our body starts with surrender and daily obedience.

Here are the four pointers on how to honor God with your body.

4 Biblical Actions to Live This Out:
1 Have God’s Perspective
See your body the way God sees it not for vanity, but for worship, stewardship, and purpose.
2 Have a Plan
Spiritual growth and healthy living happen intentionally. Discipline is part of discipleship.
3 Walk in Accountability
God never meant for us to grow alone. Trusted people help us stay faithful and grounded.
4 Make It a Family Discipline
Build a home culture that honors God together in habits, health, speech, purity, and devotion.

“Therefore glorify God in your body.” 🙏🔥

What would you trade for something valuable?

In Awana Kids, the children learned about Jacob and Esau and how Esau gave up his birthright for just one meal. Through their story, the kids discovered the importance of valuing God’s blessings, telling the truth, and treating others with love and respect.

They were reminded that God’s plans are always greater, and He guides us to grow in faith and obedience every day.

Colossians 3:16
Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts.

Come and join us this Sunday as we grow in faith, encourage one another with God’s Word, and worship together with grateful hearts.

Paul’s life reminds us that true strength is not found in pretending to be okay, but in surrendering our weakness to Jesus.
Because when everything else fails, the grace of God remains sufficient.
Paul endured suffering, rejection, imprisonment, and weakness throughout his ministry.
Yet instead of trusting in his own strength, he learned to depend completely on Christ.
That’s why he could boldly say, “When I am weak, then I am strong.” (2 Corinthians 12:10)

Sometimes God allows us to be broken so we would stop trusting in ourselves and start clinging fully to Christ.
And when Christ is all we have, we finally realize He is all we truly need.

People mistakenly believe that being a Christian just means sitting in a church every Sunday. This misconception leaves believers feeling spiritually stuck and disconnected, turning a relationship with God into a mere attendance checklist.

But being a disciple is all about full surrender, hindi lang siya basta pagsisimba, kundi isang lifestyle ng pagsunod kay Jesus. Napakahalaga ng discipleship para lumago tayo kasama ang ibang mananampamataya. Sabi sa Proverbs 27:17, As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.

Take the next step and join a small group! By doing this, you will find a supportive community, understand the Bible deeper, and experience a genuinely transformed life.

In Awana Kids, our little ones learned from Genesis 24:1–27 how Abraham trusted God to lead his servant in finding a wife for Isaac. The servant prayed for God’s guidance, and God faithfully answered by leading him to Rebekah, who showed kindness and generosity.

The kids learned that God hears our prayers, guides our steps, and blesses those who trust and obey Him. 🙏

The Church is not just a building, it is God’s people called to worship Him, grow in holiness, share the Gospel, and prepare for Christ’s return. Every believer is called to be a salt and light in this dark world while waiting expectantly for Jesus our Blessed Hope.
