For three incredible years, the 𝘽𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙢𝙗𝙖𝙣 𝘼𝙨𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙨 𝘼𝙡𝙩𝙖𝙧 𝙎𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨 (BAAS) has stood firm in our mission: serving at the Altar with utmost reverence and passion. Looking back at how far we've come, our hearts are overflowing with gratitude to the Almighty and to everyone who has supported our journey.

Today, we joyfully celebrate the Feast of St. John Mary Vianney! Known as the 'Curé d'Ars,' he is the beloved patron saint of parish priests. His life was a beautiful testament to the power of prayer, penance, and tireless service in the confessional.🙏🎉

As Lay Faithful, we look to him as a model of humility and total dedication to the spiritual well-being of the flock. On this day, we also offer special prayers for all our parish priests, that they may be strengthened by his example and intercession.

Niining bulan sa Agusto, tagaan natug higayon na ilhon ang matag tim-os na sakripisyo sa atong mga nagkadaiyang mga Altar Servers. Sila usab ang atong mga batan-ong bayani diha sa simbahan, sila maoy manguna sa pagtabang sa pagpangandam sa galamiton diha sa Altar alang sa pagsaulog sa Santos na Misa, ug sila usab ang sinugdanan o ang unang ang-ang alang sa bokasyon sa pagka-pari. Magpadayun kita sa pag-ampo ug paglaum na sa atong mga Altar Server adunay mamahimong mamumuo.

Today, we joyfully celebrate the Feast of St. James the Great as one of the inner circle of the Apostles, St. James witnessed the Transfiguration and the Agony in the Garden, eventually becoming the first Apostle to shed his blood for Christ. His life is a powerful testament to courage, zeal, and total commitment to the Gospel. As Laypersons, we look to him as a model of 'Boanerges' or 'Son of Thunder'—serving the Lord with a fiery and dedicated heart. May his intercession strengthen our own pilgrimage of faith.

Thank you for your unseen sacrifices and unwavering support for the Balamban-Asturias Altar Servers, which have been a steady foundation of the BAAS community and paved the way for the success of many of our events.
