To keep thee from the evil woman, from the flattery of the tongue of a strange woman.

Ug siya may usa ka igsoong babaye nga ginganlan si Maria, nga milingkod usab sa tiilan ni Jesus, ug nagpatalinghug sa iyang pulong.
Apan si Marta nagakapuliki sa labihang pag-amoma, ug miadto kaniya ug miingon: Ginoo, wala ka bay pagtagad nga ang akong igsoon nagapasagad kanako sa pag-amoma nga usara? Busa, ingna nga motabang siya kanako.
Apan ang Ginoo mitubag ug miingon kaniya: Marta, Marta, nagakaguol ug nagakapuliki ikaw mahitungod sa daghang mga butang.
Apan usa ka butang ang kinahanglanon: kay si Maria nagpili sa maayong bahin nga dili makuha gikan kaniya.
