Commissioning: Lectors and Commentators Ministry and Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion

All praise and thanksgiving be to God for the commissioning of our LECOM and EMHC, especially our two new Lay Eucharistic Ministers from St. Anthony de Padua BEC.

The two new Lay Eucharistic Ministers began their journey in faith as Sunday schoolers, then served at the altar as Altar Servers/Sacristans, and now have been entrusted with the ministry of serving the Holy Eucharist. What a beautiful journey of faith, growth, and service! ❤️
Thank you, Rev. Fr. Felimon William and Rev. Fr. Reamor Bacdayan, for your encouragement. 🙏

May God continue to guide and strengthen them as they faithfully answer His call to serve His Church and His people.

"Today we come together to fulfill the sweetest of all the spiritual works of mercy, which is to pray for the dead, especially our deceased loved ones and those who have no one to pray for them. We come here to pray with faith, because, we simply don't know the state of our loved ones after death. We pray for them all, entrusting them to God's mercy, knowing that in the communion of saints, our prayers and good deeds can in fact help them."

DEATH IS LEAVING THE WORLD BEHIND AND GETTING TO A BETTER PLACE.

"The time of my departure is at hand.”
- 2 Timothy 4:6

For believers in Jesus Christ, death is not an end but a beginning. It means leaving this old world behind and getting to a better place, completing the purpose for which we were made. It is a time for joy and excitement and a hearty "Bon Voyage". But the journey is not uncharted. One has taken it before us, and He has returned to bring us safely through.

Although we pass through the valley of the shadow of death, God is with us all the way.

May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Through God’s generosity, donations were brought to St. Vincent Ferrer Parish by Mrs. Lucia Ballogan, St. Anthony de Padua Gimong Coordinator, for distribution to families affected by the typhoon.

Like the story of the five loaves and two fish, we are reminded that what may seem small in our hands can become abundant when offered to God. May these shared blessings, through God’s grace, be multiplied and become enough to bring comfort, hope, and nourishment to the families in need. 🙏

What we offer with love, God can multiply for the good of many.❤️

Visitation by Ms. Shula Viernes, Social Action Coordinator of San Lorenzo Ruiz, and Ms. Rebecca Colingan, BHP Coordinator of St. Anthony de Padua, along with the distribution of goods to a family who evacuated to the Wesleyan Church due to the danger posed by the typhoon.

A meaningful collaboration between San Lorenzo Ruiz and St. Anthony de Padua under St. Vincent Ferrer Parish, together with the Wesleyan Church, united by one purpose and one goal, with Jesus at the center of it all.💕
