GLCC is a local church existing in this community that serves as a "home" to anyone who comes to know Christ through its mission works and who wants to come and be part of this family. It adheres, teaches, a

nd promotes salvation by grace through the new birth by faith in Jesus Christ, and practices good works as the fruit of salvation. In the same word, it adheres to evangelical and Pentecostal belief and practice. GLCC is planted to be an organism that grows in quantity, quality, and organization. The believers (members) are called Disciples, not converts. They are growing in the faith into Christlikeness, and they are participants in action under the authority of Jesus Christ, through His under-shepherd, the Pastor. They are governed by the whole counsel of the word of God and guided by the Holy Spirit. Its leadership are not elected, but appointed according to the recognition of their calling and spiritual gifting that duties be dispensed accordingly and respectively. Its primary work is conducting services for worship, evangelism, instruction, equipping, and meeting the needs of the people as God provides, at the Church building, at stated times, and wherever the Lord leads- for God's glory, salvation of souls, and building up of the local body of believers.

One thing remains true, Vacation Bible Schools work. When we instill the Word of God in the hearts of our precious children, there will be a portion of their hearts that will remember it.

Our teachers are a living testament of that. They started as students even way back 1990's and are now the ones leading.

Some parents of this year's VBS attendees were also VBS students in GLCC! When we continue the cycle of teaching them young, the fruit of the Spirit will surely grow! 🍇🍓🍑🍉🍏

Day 3 of Growing the Fruit of the Spirit!

Today, we have learned to PRODUCE PATIENCE through the Parable of the Prodigal Son. His father patiently waited for his return! God is like the patient father in the story, waiting for our return and forgives us, even when we do foolish things!

We have learned to PICK KINDNESS through the Parable of the Good Samaritan, that even people who we might not usually think as our neighbor, could even be the ones extending their arms to help us! Being kind to others is also a way to show our love to God.

Day 3 of Growing the Fruit of the Spirit!

Today, we have learned to PRODUCE PATIENCE through the Parable of the Prodigal Son. His father patiently waited for his return! God is like the patient father in the story, waiting for our return and forgives us, even when we do foolish things!

God's precious children learned the gift of salvation that brings great joy and causes us to be thankful! For we were once lost, but now we're found.

They have also learned to depend on God's care for His peace helps us not to worry! To be like the birds the in the sky and the flowers on a grassy hillside 🐦🌻
