For two years, he has been training in the open field until a group of 15 God-loving people joined him. Together, they started a small Bible Study Group at Room 15, Laperal Building, Session Road, Baguio City. As the Lord continued to prosper the number of the people attending so did the prayers for a better and wider place for worship. As God’s answer, the Baguio City National High School (City H
igh) opened up its doors for the Ministry. The first set of officers were then elected and this lead to the Ministry’s registration and identification with the Securities and Exchange Commission. On February 8, 2000, the Called to Christ Ministry was officially given its name and recognized as such (with registry number B200000077). After four years of stay at City High, God moved them into another venue. The Ministry spent a quite number of years at Mabini Elementary School located at Salud Mitra Barangay, Baguio City before moving to the University of the Cordilleras at corner Governor Pack Road and Harrison Road, Baguio City. From then on, two outreaches were formed:
a. Called to Christ Ministry, Inc. - Batuang, Itogon, Benguet; and
b. Called to Christ Ministry, Inc. - Km. 5, Pines Park, La Trinidad, Benguet. God never failed to send people and aid of all kinds as the Ministry expanded through time. Today, after 12 years of faithfully serving God and performing the duties and responsibilities as ministers of the Gospel, God saved a place for the Ministry – 2nd floor, Philippine Nurses Association (PNA) Building, Upper Session Road, Baguio City. This certainly can now be called “home” – the “Called to Christ Ministry’s Home.” Nevertheless, the Ministry still reserves, for official purposes, 23C Sumulong Street, Holy Ghost Proper Barangay, Baguio City, as its address. More years to the Ministry’s journey also mean more work to respond to. Apart from the daily house/hospital visits, Bible studies, usual fellowships and Sunday Service, Midweek activities and if permitted, out-of-town missions are held. To date, countless people, blessings, activities, missions, and gifts have been part of the Ministry and the Called to Christ Ministry looks forward to more.
