We thank the Lord for another meaningful evening at Crosswalk Theo Lab.

As we studied Psalm 2, we considered its natural and faithful connection to Psalm 1, traced the identity of the LORD’s Anointed King through the unfolding redemptive story, and considered the truth of His sovereign rule over the nations and the call to find refuge in Him, ultimately fulfilled in Christ Jesus.

Grateful for the thoughtful discussions around this Psalm and the desire of the brethren to continually understand God’s Word together.

Soli Deo Gloria! 🙌

Crosswalk Theo Lab is a quarterly Bible training that forms part of our local church’s continuing commitment to equip God’s people in Hermeneutics and Biblical Theology, helping the church read, understand, and apply Scripture faithfully within God’s redemptive story.

3rd Quarter Crosslife Leaders’ Devotional. 🙌

This quarter, our Bible Study Leaders gathered around Colossians 1:24-29, reflecting on the Apostle Paul’s ministry and his great endeavor for the church - to present everyone mature in Christ.

We were reminded that this apostolic pattern must continue to characterize the church today, particularly in pastoral ministry, but also in every ministry, every Bible Study Group, and ultimately, in the life of the whole local church.

May the Lord grant us grace to faithfully proclaim, teach, warn, and labor, depending not upon our own strength, but upon His energy powerfully at work within us, that together we may grow toward maturity in Christ.

“Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ. For this I toil, struggling with all his energy that he powerfully works within me.”

Colossians 1:24-29 ESV

- We misses this those who couldn't make it, looking forward to our time together again this 4th quarter, Lord willing!

The Faithful Shepherd Training Program - Session 2 | Module 1.

Grateful for another meaningful evening of study, discussion, and fellowship as we continued Foundations for Faithful Leadership, considering The Nature and Stewardship of Pastoral Ministry from Acts 20:17-35.

Praying that the Lord would continue to cultivate faithful men who love His Word, care for His people, and serve humbly under Christ, the Chief Shepherd.

The August edition of The Faithful Herald is here!

As we look back on another month in the life of Crosswalk, we are reminded that the Lord continues to build His church according to His wisdom, faithfulness, and sovereign purposes.

In this edition, we highlight what the Lord is continually accomplishing through our Crosslife groups, fellowship ministries, ministry training, the Movement of the Word Philippines, and the beginning of The Faithful Shepherd Training Program.

As the rainy season continues, we are also reminded that the changing seasons are not governed by chance, but by the sovereign hand of God. Our trust is in the Lord alone!

Above all, may this edition draw our hearts to Christ, the wisdom of God, and encourage us to keep growing in His Word, serving His church, and partnering together in the ministry of the Gospel.
