Day 2 and Final Day of the MOTW Hermeneutics
Workshop on Ephesians

Praising God for the conclusion of our two-day training as we continued our study through the book of Ephesians, covering Chapter 2 together.

From exposition, discussions, observations, and tracing the flow of thought in the text, we praise God for the privilege of sitting under His Word together and growing in our understanding of the Scriptures.

Praying that the Lord would continue raising up faithful men who will rightly handle the Word of truth for the building up of His church, and that the realities of what it means to be united in Christ would be increasingly lived out and experienced in our respective local churches.

"So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit."

Ephesians Workshop
Day 1 Snapshots

We praise God for the fruitful and blessed time of study during Day 1 of the Movement of the Word Philippines Hermeneutics Workshop on the book of Ephesians, held here at the Crosswalk Church Center, as we carefully worked through and studied Chapter 1 together.

We also thank the Lord for the new men, pastors and church leaders, who enrolled in the program, desiring to grow in the faithful handling of God’s Word.

Additionally, we had the privilege of hosting special guests, sisters in the Lord from various churches, who desired to observe and sit in during the training sessions to witness how the workshops are conducted.

All in all, it was a blessed and fruitful day of learning, fellowship, and growing together in the Scriptures.

"...making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his purpose, which he set forth in Christ as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth."

We are grateful to share the April 2026 edition of The Faithful Herald. 🙌

This month’s issue turns our attention to the risen and reigning Lord Jesus Christ, and what it means to live in light of His finished work. While many observe the Holy Week, we are reminded that the resurrection is not simply an event to remember, but a reality that calls for a life of faithful obedience daily.

Inside this issue, we highlight evidences of God’s grace among us; from the steady work of discipleship across our fellowship groups, to our ministry gatherings, and the continued equipping of the church through the teaching of His Word.

As we reflect on these things, we are reminded:

“Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do what I tell you?”

Luke 6:46 ESV

May the Lord continue to establish us in His Word, lead us in faithful obedience, and cause our lives, our homes, and our church to reflect His lordship in all things.

Warm greetings to our dear brethren at Grace Evangelical Church of Mangatarem as you celebrate your 40th Church Anniversary!

We rejoice with you and praise God for His faithfulness through the years. Four decades of the Lord’s sustaining grace is a wonderful testimony of His mercy and steadfast love toward His Church.

We also thank God for your continued faithfulness in the ministry of the Word and for your steadfast commitment to the proclamation of the Gospel, through the faithful leadership of Pastor Remando Alamo and your elders. May the Lord continue to strengthen and establish your church in the Gospel truth and unity.

We resonate with the Apostle Paul in his letter to the Philippinan Church as we celebrate with you all.

"I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now."

Philippians 1:3-5 ESV

May Christ continue to be exalted in your congregation as you press on in faithful service for His glory.

The MOTW Expository Preaching Course Continues! 📖

Movement of the Word Philippines in collaboration with WordPartners Global and our local church, Crosswalk, is glad to announce the fourth title and module of the MOTW Expository Preaching Course: Ephesians.

Why Study the Book of Ephesians?

The letter to the Ephesians offers one of the most profound portraits of the gospel in the New Testament. In it, the Apostle Paul reveals God’s eternal plan to save sinners through Christ and to gather them into one unified people who live for His glory.

Throughout this letter we see the riches of God’s grace in the way believers are chosen, redeemed, and made alive through Christ, and how those who were once far off are now brought near and united as one body through the Person and Work of Christ.

This three-part workshop will explore the message of Ephesians using the Dig & Discover approach. Our first workshop will focus on Ephesians 1-2, where the Apostle Paul unfolds the spiritual blessings we have in Christ and shows how God brings sinners from death to life, forming one new people by His grace.

Join us as we study this beautiful and profound letter and reflect on what it means for the church today to walk worthy of the calling we have received.
