His Excellency, the Most Reverend Rafael T. Cruz, D.D., officiated the groundbreaking ceremony of the Church Facade and Extension of Our Lady of Lourdes Chapel. He was assisted by Reverend Father Marion Joseph S. Nebres, the resident priest.

The ceremony was also attended by Architect Rolando Malamion, the facade designer; Engineer Jason Laranang, the project contractor; Engineer Leo Agpad, the Diocese of Baguio's consultant engineer; Barangay officials of Scout Barrio, led by Honorable Elizabeth Consolacion; members of the Pastoral Council, led by Mrs. Rusela Bacungan; and guests and benefactors.

The project costs Php 4,700,000.00. Please continue supporting the 500 Hearts Fundraising Program or donate your preferred amount. Construction will commence on June 3, 2026.

Donations may be made through a bank deposit at Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) to the account of Diocese of Baguio – Our Lady of Lourdes Chapel, account number 00573-3677-15 (BPI – Session Baguio).
