Happy Birthday, Pastor Mario Bugtong! ✨🥰🫶

Today, as a congregation, we pause to thank the Lord for the precious gift that you are to the Body of Christ. We honor not only your leadership, but the heart behind it — a heart that reflects the gentleness, compassion, patience, and grace of Jesus.

Thank you for being a shepherd who leads with humility and love. In a world where authority is often expressed through fear, pressure, and harshness, you have shown us what godly leadership truly looks like. You have fathered this church with gentleness. You correct without condemning, guide without humiliating, and lead without overpowering. Never through shouting, never through condescending words, but through wisdom, patience, understanding, and sincere care for every soul entrusted to you.

To many of us, you are more than a pastor or overseer. You have become a spiritual father — one who carries the church not with pride, but with prayer; not with control, but with compassion. Through every season, your perseverance, consistency, and quiet strength have become a testimony of Christ’s love working through a surrendered servant.

📌Thank you for staying faithful even when ministry is heavy.
📌Thank you for loving people even when it is difficult.
📌Thank you for choosing gentleness in a world that often rewards hardness.
📌And most of all, thank you for continuously pointing us back to Jesus.

As your church family, this is our declaration over your life:

“May the Lord continue to strengthen your hands for the work of the ministry. May He refresh your spirit, preserve your health, increase your wisdom, and surround you with peace. May your latter years be even more fruitful than the former. May your home overflow with joy, your prayers be answered in due season, and may the grace of God continually rest upon you and your family. Like Moses, may your strength not fail. Like Paul, may you continue with and finish your race with faith. And like Jesus, may your life continue to reveal the heart of the Father to His people.”

FRIDAY FAITH IN ACTION!
Hone your skills today.

✨ Proverbs 22:29 ✨
“Do you see someone skilled in their work? They will serve before kings; they will not serve before obscure men.”

Minsan iniisip natin, “Simple lang naman ‘to, maliit lang ginagawa ko.”
But God sees it differently.

Yung skill mo?
Yung talent mo?
Yung ginagawa mo kahit walang nakakapansin?

Hindi ‘yan maliit sa mata ng Diyos.

In fact, the Word says — skill opens doors.
Not just any doors… doors of influence, purpose, and divine positioning.

Pero here’s the heart check:
Hindi lang ito tungkol sa pagiging magaling…
👉 It’s about being faithful with what God placed in your hands.

💡Kung ano man ‘yang ginagawa mo ngayon —
business mo, trabaho mo, ministry mo, even your craft…

Galingan mo. Hindi para magyabang—kundi para magpasalamat.

Because excellence is a form of worship.

Let me share with you some Bible verses too:
• Colossians 3:23 — “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord…”
• Exodus 31:3-5 — God fills people with skill, ability, and craftsmanship
• Ecclesiastes 9:10 — “Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might”

✨ Practical Ways to Hone Your Skills (while honoring God):

• Practice with Purpose
Hindi lang basta repetition — improve intentionally.
Ask yourself: “Paano ko pa ito mapapabuti?”

• Stay Teachable
Even if magaling ka na, remain humble. Learn from others.
Growth stops when pride starts.

• Be Consistent (kahit wala sa mood 😅)
Skill is built in the unseen days, hindi lang sa “inspired” moments.

• Invite God into Your Work
Pray before you create, decide, or serve.
Hindi mo kailangan i-separate ang “spiritual” at “work”—kasama Siya sa lahat.

• Serve People, Not Just for Profit but as a form of your worship.
When your work blesses others, God breathes favor into it.

❤️ Gentle Reminder:
Your hands are not ordinary.
They are graced hands.
Hands that can create, build, serve, lead, restore, and bless.
Hindi ka lang nagtatrabaho—
👉 You are stewarding a gift from God.

And one day, God will use that very skill to bring you into rooms you once prayed for.

🙏 Short Prayer:
Lord, thank You for the skills and abilities You have placed in my hands.
Salamat dahil hindi Mo ako nilikhang walang purpose.

I offer my work back to You as worship.
Teach me to grow, to improve, and to remain faithful—even in the small things.

I declare Your favor over my work—
over my business, my clients, my customers, and future partnerships.
I thank You in advance for divine connections, open doors, and godly leadership in my workplace.

Bless the work of my hands (Deuteronomy 28:12),
and use it to glorify You and bless others.

Friday's Faith in Action!

Last Friday, we started with speaking life over ourselves—reminding our own hearts of God’s truth. 💛
Ngayon, it’s time naman to take that life and share it with others.

“Encourage one another and build each other up…”
— 1 Thessalonians 5:11

Someone around you is silently struggling.
Hindi lahat nagsasalita… pero maraming nangangailangan.

So today, be the message you once needed.

Pero here’s the heart check—
Hindi ito tungkol sa pagiging overly positive na parang minamaliit yung pinagdadaanan ng iba po ah.

Hindi ito:
“Okay lang yan. Maliit na bagay lang yang pinagdadaanan mo.”
Because sometimes… it’s not okay yet.
And being insensitive with our choice of words may cause them more hurt.

Instead, this is about speaking truth with grace.
Encouragement that is rooted in the Word, not empty words.

As you continue to read your Bible, napapansin mo ba?
God’s Word begins to speak life to you.
At yung buhay na yun… hindi lang para sa’yo.
It naturally flows out of you and reaches others.

So when you speak—
you’re not just giving opinions,
you’re releasing life.

✨ Practical ways to encourage without being offensive:

• Before you even start sharing, pray muna that the Lord will cause you to speak the right and proper words sa kakausapin mo. At the same time, ask Him to cleanse your heart so that you will not speak from your flesh but from the Spirit of God. A simple "Lord, help me speak life sa kaibigan kong ito/ sa taong ito/ sa kasama kong ito. Cleanse my heart so it is pure as I approach them".

• Start with presence, not pressure
“Hey, naisip lang kita today. How are you really doing?”

• Acknowledge their reality
“I may not fully understand, but I’m here for you.”
"I see you, kapatid. Masakit/Mahirap/Magulo talaga yang sitwasyon mong yan"

• Speak gently, not forcefully
Hindi kailangan ng sermon—kahit simpleng truth lang, with love. Allow them to feel the love and comfort of Jesus being outpoured through you.

• Point them to God, not just positivity
“Hindi ko man alam lahat ng sagot, pero I know God sees you and He cares deeply.”

• Keep it sincere, not scripted.
Real > perfect.
Yung galing talaga sa pusong willing magshare.

And if you don’t know what to say, you can start here:

“Hey, I prayed for you today.”
“You matter more than you think.”

Simple… but powerful.

Because sometimes, one message can remind a person na hindi sila nag-iisa.

So today, church—
take the life God is speaking to you, and let it reach someone else.

Faith isn’t just something we keep.
It’s something we live… and share. 🤍

Friday Faith in Action
✨ How have you been speaking to yourself lately?✨

You’ve been hard on yourself all week. Let’s change that.
In our generation, parang normal na lang to speak negatively about ourselves.

“Ang bobo ko naman.”
“Wala akong kwenta.”
“Hindi ako enough.”
“Ganito lang ako eh.”

Sometimes we laugh it off. Sometimes we justify it—
“Pagod lang ako.”
“Na-ooverwhelm lang ako.”
“Pressure kasi.”

And yes, emotions are real. Pressure is real. Life can be heavy.

But here’s the truth:
Hindi lahat ng nararamdaman natin ay dapat nating sinasang-ayunan.

Because the Word of God reminds us in Proverbs 18:21 —
“The tongue has the power of life and death…”

Meaning?
Your words are not harmless.
They are seeds.

You cannot speak death over yourself and expect to live in the fullness of what God promised.

You cannot keep agreeing with lies and expect to walk in truth.

So today, we shift. Amen po?

Hindi ka kailangang maging kalaban ng sarili mo.
You are someone God is working in.

Let’s start speaking life — sa sarili natin, sa ating buhay, paligid, mga thoughts din natin.

Declare this—kahit hindi mo pa fully feel:

“I am not forgotten.”
(Isaiah 49:15)

“God is working in me.”
(Philippians 1:6)

“I am held.”
(Psalm 139:10)

PRACTICAL WAYS to stop speaking negatively and start speaking truth:

• Catch it.
Be aware of your self-talk. The moment you say something negative—pause. Don’t let it pass as “normal.”

• Cancel it.
Say it out loud if you need to:
“Lord, I take that back. That is not what You say about me.”

(2 Corinthians 10:5 — take every thought captive)

• Replace it with the Word.
Don’t leave your mind empty—fill it with truth.

“I am weak” → “God is my strength.” (2 Corinthians 12:9)
“I’m not enough” → “God is enough in me.” (2 Corinthians 3:5)

• Speak it daily—even when it feels unnatural.
Life-giving words don’t always feel natural at first… but they are powerful.

(Romans 10:17 — faith comes by hearing)

Family, gentle reminder:
You are not meant to tear yourself down.

You are called to align your voice with God’s voice.

So speak life.
Speak truth.
Speak what Heaven is saying about you.

Because what you speak… you start to believe.
And what you believe… you start to live.

You don’t walk through life trying to earn your identity—you walk from the place of already being chosen.

In Jesus, you are not defined by your past, your pain, or people’s opinions. You are defined by what He has already finished on the cross. You are a child of God, deeply loved, fully accepted, and intentionally called.

And because of that identity, you don’t shrink back—you step forward.

You carry authority. Not because of who you are on your own, but because of who lives in you. The same power that raised Christ from the dead now dwells in you (Romans 8:11). You have been given the right to stand firm, to speak truth, to overcome darkness, and to walk in victory (Luke 10:19).

So today, don’t beg for approval that heaven has already declared over you.

Walk like a daughter.
Stand like a son.
Speak like someone who knows who they belong to.

You are not trying to become—you are already His. 🤍

REAL TALK MONDAY
“Simba-simba pa sila, wala namang pagbabago sa kanila."
"Ayoko sa church na yan. Parang wala namang pagbabago sa kanila"
"Nagaaksaya lang sila ng panahon, wala namang changes"

Minsan, madaling sabihin ‘to—lalo na kapag ang nakikita lang natin ay surface. hindi ba?
Pero ang totoo, we only see a snapshot of someone’s life, not the full story of their journey with God, and the truth is very limited ang nakikita natin. Kahit pa kapamilya natin yan.

😇Hindi natin alam ang mga tahimik nilang panalangin.
😇Hindi natin naririnig ang mga iyak nila sa gabi.
😇Hindi natin nakikita ang mga bagay na unti-unti nilang sinusurrender sa Panginoon.
😇Ni hindi nga natin alam kung ano ang specific na instruction ni Lord sa taong ito, sa season din na ito ng buhay nya.

Yes, we are called to spur each other up, na magpalakasan tayo. Pero it is not a reason for us to unnecessarily utter snide comments na hindi na nakakatulong sa kanila at sa atin din.

Growth in Christ is not always loud and largely evident for everyone to always see.
Madalas, it is slow, hidden, and deeply personal.

Bago tayo magbigay ng komento sa buhay ng iba, maybe this is an invitation for a heart check.

Sabi sa Matthew 7:3–5:
“Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? … First take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.”

Hindi ito para mang-condemn. Rather, this is a gentle reminder for all of us.

Instead of asking,
“Bakit parang walang pagbabago sa kanila?”

Maybe we can shift our perspective and start asking,
🟢“Kamusta na kaya ang puso ko?”
🟢“Paano na ako binabago ng Panginoon?”
🟢"Am I walking the life that the Lord told me to do?"
🟢"Is my heart, mind and way of living pleasing sa aking Panginoon?"
🟢"How can I better represent my King?"

Because truth be told—
it is hypocrisy to measure others while ignoring our own need for growth.

Remember, mga kapatid, out of the abundance of our heart, our mouth speaks. (Luke 6:45) Dahil kung hindi na maganda ang sinasabi natin, baka hindi narin maayos ang puso natin.

💯✅✨Kung may nakita man tayong kahinaan sa iba,
baka hindi iyon ibinigay sa atin para husgahan sila kundi para ipanalangin sila.

Instead of criticizing,
📌LET'S INTERCEDE.
Instead of pointing fingers,
📌LET'S LIFT THEM UP.

Because in the end,
we are all works in progress—
and God is not yet finished with any of us. 😇🫶

↘And lastly, if in any circumstance you caught yourself saying condemning and condescending words about a certain family, church, organization or person or anyone else, this is an invitation to ask the Lord for forgiveness and to ask Him to cleanse your heart and fill it with love, compassion and grace for there is no condemnation is Christ Jesus.

Amen po?
Shalom, kapatid. Mahal naming kayo. Pero higit na mas mahal kayo ng Panginoon.

🫶Sometimes the most Christ-like response is not a sermon—it’s a presence. 🫶

Not every hurting heart needs an explanation.
Sometimes, it just needs to feel held.

There are moments when words—EVEN IF THEY ARE TRUE—can feel heavy, especially to someone already carrying so much.
In those spaces, what heals isn’t a lecture but LOVE and COMPASSION expressed through presence, patience, and quiet understanding.

The Word reminds us that there is “a time to be silent and a time to speak” (Ecclesiastes 3:7).
We are also called to “mourn with those who mourn” (Romans 12:15), not rush them out of their pain.
You see even Job’s friends got it right at first—they sat with him IN SILENCE. (Job 2:13).
Because truth, no matter how good, must be “fitly spoken” (Proverbs 25:11).

And Jesus showed us this beautifully—He didn’t rush to explain pain, He met people in it. He also wept (John 11:35) along with Mary, Martha and the rest of the mourners. He stayed. He cared.

✅Before we correct, may we learn to comfort.
✅Before we instruct, may we learn to sit beside.
✅Before we speak, may we learn to listen.

Because sometimes, the most Christ-like thing we can offer…
is not a sermon—but a sincere, gentle presence.

Galatians 6:9 NIV
9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

🌿 SUNDAY INVITATION: Don’t Give Up Doing Good 🌿

“Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9

Dear church family,
This Sunday, we step into a new theme—a timely reminder for all of us: keep doing good and don’t lose heart.

Life can get heavy. There are days when doing the right thing feels exhausting, when showing up feels harder than usual, and when you wonder if it’s all even making a difference. But God, in His faithfulness, reminds us—your obedience is never wasted, your kindness is never unseen, and your perseverance will always have a harvest.

✨ And this Sunday, we come together again—not just out of routine, but with expectation.
Expectation that God will refresh tired hearts,
Expectation that His Word will speak deeply and personally,
Expectation that His presence will fill what the week has drained.

We are blessed to hear from our Head Pastor and Provincial Overseer of NLBFII Baguio-Benguet, Pastor Mario L. Bugtong, as he is used by the Lord to bring a powerful word that will strengthen and encourage us in this season.

💛 This is your invitation:
Come as you are. Come expectant. Come ready.

And don’t come alone—
👉 Invite someone. A friend, a family member, a co-worker.
You never know who needs a fresh touch from God. Let’s be vessels so others can also experience His presence.

📝 Bring your Bible, notebook, and pen.
There will be something God will deposit in your heart—something you’ll want to remember, reflect on, and live out.

FRIDAY'S FAITH IN ACTION
✨“Before you scroll tonight… sit with God.” ✨

Alam namin—maingay ang mundo.
Deadlines, responsibilities, expectations… minsan pati sarili mong thoughts ang lakas ng boses.
And if we’re honest, nakakapressure. Nakakapagod. Nakakalunod.

Pero sandali lang…
What if, instead of adding more noise, you choose His presence?

📖 “Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10
Hindi sinabi na “fix everything.” Hindi sinabi na “figure it all out.”
He simply said, be still… and know.

Tonight, try this:

✨ Put your phone down.
✨ No music. No distractions.
✨ Just sit… and breathe.
✨ Then softly say, “Lord, I’m here. Search my heart, move in me.”

That’s it.

Hindi mo kailangan ng mahabang prayer.
Hindi mo kailangan maging perfect.
You just need to show up.

Because in that stillness—
you allow God to be God in your life.
You let Him take His rightful place: in control.
Allow Him to speak and move in you.

📖 “And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 4:7

Yung peace na hinahanap mo?
Hindi siya galing sa solved problems.
Hindi siya galing sa tahimik na paligid.

Galing siya kay Jesus.

So tonight, even for just 5 minutes—
choose presence over pressure.
Choose stillness over scrolling.
Choose Him.

And let God meet you there. 🤍

END OF THE MONTH NA! 🤍

Yehey!katapusan na.

Kung titignan mo, parang ang bilis lang ng April.
Pero kung mararamdaman mo… ang daming pinagdaanan.

May mga araw na okay ka.
May mga araw na hindi mo alam paano ka naka-survive.
May mga moments na tahimik lang… pero ang bigat sa loob.

And yet—nandito ka.
Hindi lang basta naka-survive… you made it through.

Hindi dahil ang lakas mo…
kundi dahil faithful si Lord.

✨ “The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.” — Psalm 126:3

So before we rush into a new month, can we pause…
and just say, “Lord, thank You.”

Thank You, Lord…

🤍 For provision — sa mga bills na somehow nabayaran, sa pagkain sa mesa, sa mga unexpected blessings na dumating right on time.
✨ “And my God will supply every need of yours…” — Philippians 4:19

🤍 For strength — sa mga araw na ubos ka na pero nakabangon ka pa rin.
✨ “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” — Psalm 46:1

🤍 For relationships — pamilya, kaibigan, kahit yung mga taong naging instrumento para turuan ka, i-challenge ka, at i-grow ka.

🤍 For work and studies — kahit nakakapagod, You gave us the ability to keep going, to learn, to show up.
✨ “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart…” — Colossians 3:23

🤍 For protection — sa mga bagay na hindi namin nakita pero inilayo Mo kami.

🤍 For healing — emotionally, spiritually… kahit hindi pa tapos, alam naming You are working.

🤍 And even for the hard days — kasi doon namin mas nakilala kung gaano Ka katapat.

✨ “The Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” — Joshua 1:9

April wasn’t perfect.
But God was present in every single part of it.

So today, we don’t just celebrate the end of the month—
we celebrate the faithfulness of God through it all.

If you’re reading this…
that’s already a testimony.

You are still here.
Still standing.
Still held by His grace.

As we step into a new month, dala natin ‘to:
Hindi tayo mag-isa kailanman.

Thank You, Lord, for carrying us through April.
All glory belongs to You. 🙌🤍
