In response to the DECREE OF ENDORSEMENT AND PRAISE ON THE COMMUNAL FIRST SATURDAY DEVOTION IN HONOR OF OUR LADY OF FATIMA issued by His Excellency, the Most Rev. Rafael T. Cruz, D.D., Bishop of Baguio, dated August 26, 2025, we invite all the Parish Priests and his assistants, parishioners, Lay Religious Communities, Lay Liturgical Ministers, Youth Ministry of the Vicariate of Our Lady of Atonement, and Seminarians of St. Francis Xavier Seminary to attend the VICARIATE MARIAN RECOLLECTION on the Topic: “OUR LADY’S MESSAGES FOR OUR TIME” on SEPTEMBER 9, 2026 (Wednesday) at the Baguio Cathedral and Diocesan Shrine of Our Lady of the Atonement. This is also an Orientation to the First Saturday Devotion in honor of Our Lady of Fatima.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION | August 8, 2026

Though this post comes a little late, we joyfully look back on a beautiful and grace-filled celebration held on August 8, 2026.

We give thanks to the Lord for the 64 students who received their First Holy Communion, taking an important step in their journey of faith and deepening their relationship with Christ in the Eucharist.

We also warmly welcomed 4 newly baptized members into the Christian community and celebrated the Acceptance of 3 candidates as they continue their preparation in faith.
May the Lord continue to guide these children and families, strengthen them in their faith, and keep them close to His loving presence.

Today, as we celebrate the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the 61st Parish Foundation Anniversary, we give thanks to God for the gift of our parish community and for the many years of faith, service, and mission.

The Eucharistic Celebration was presided over by Rev. Fr. Berlynden Dao-anis, Vicar Forane and Rector of The Baguio Cathedral and Diocesan Shrine of Our Lady of the Atonement, who reminded us through his homily: “𝙒𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧, 𝙬𝙚 𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚, 𝙬𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙫𝙚,” echoing Mary’s joyful proclamation, “My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord.”
The Assumption of Mary reminds us of what God desires for each of us:
1. A Sign of Glorification
Mary’s Assumption points us toward the glory promised to those who live in love and faithfulness. Like Mary, we are called to embrace our mission and continually say YES to the Lord.
2. Bearers and Carriers of the Good News
In the Gospel of the Visitation, Mary carried Jesus within her and went out to serve Elizabeth. We, too, are called to carry Christ and become bearers of the Good News—bringing His love, hope, and joy to others.
3. To Trust in the Lord
Mary remained faithful even at the foot of the Cross. Her life teaches us to trust God even in moments of suffering, uncertainty, and sacrifice, knowing that His plans are greater than our own.

As we celebrate 61 years as a parish, may we continue to look to Mary as our model of faith, humility, service, and wholehearted obedience.
May our parish community continue to proclaim with Mary:
“My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord!”

𝐒𝐀𝐂𝐑𝐀𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐎𝐅 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍
𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟏𝟒, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

Today, we joyfully celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation, 57 candidates received the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, strengthening them to live as courageous witnesses of Christ.

The Sacrament was solemnly conferred by Most Rev. Rafael Cruz, D.D, bishop of the Diocese of Baguio who gathered our Confirmands in prayer and guided them as they took another meaningful step in their Christian journey.

In his homily, Bishop Raffy reflected on the fruit of the Holy Spirit—courage. He reminded the Confirmands that receiving the Holy Spirit is not simply a moment of celebration, but a call to stand firm in faith, speak the truth, choose what is right, and courageously live out the Gospel even in the face of challenges.

May the Holy Spirit continue to guide, strengthen, and inspire our newly confirmed to live boldly as witnesses of Christ and faithful members of His Church.

𝙃𝘼𝙋𝙋𝙔 𝙋𝙍𝙄𝙀𝙎𝙏𝙎 𝘿𝘼𝙔!

"The priest is not a priest for himself- he is for you. After GOD, the priest is everything!" - St. John Mary Vianney

Every 1st Sunday of August, the church celebrates St. John Marie Vianney Sunday, to honor his patronage for priests. He is the Patron Saint of Diocesan Priests.

We include in our prayers our very own parish priest this day,. Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Panayo. May he live with faithful hearts and humble hands as our spiritual father.

May the Lord continue to bless our priests with wisdom, strength, good health, and unwavering zeal as they faithfully proclaim the Gospel, celebrate the Holy Sacraments, and shepherd God's people. Through the intercession of St. John Marie Vianney, may they always remain holy, joyful, and steadfast in their sacred vocation.
