New Mission Church

New Mission Church New Mission Church is one of the first fruits of God's grace in the Philippines. To GOD be the highest glory.

The mission has been founded by our Lolo Pastor (Moksanim Park Jongsoo and samonim Jung Hyeran). Through this mission, a faithful servant of God has been raised in the soul of Pastor Aiza. Since its founding (12), its mission has expanded to the different parts of the Philippines (to name a few: Kalinga, Mindoro, La Union, Nueva Vizcaya, Calaguas and parts of Baguio- Irisan Dumpsite, Mangitit-Mont

icello-CNS Camp 7). Its main goal is to remind the people of God's faithfulness and grace through our history in the Bible and through testifying with one another God's great work in each life. Thank you to all the people and missionaries who are part, who were part, who have been part, and who will become part of this mission. WHERE WE HAVE BEEN AND WHERE WE ARE GOING ARE ALL PART OF GOD'S great plan for HIS KINGDOM.

The Spirit of God in Us (Romans 8:1-17)

Truly enough, our flesh fails us. It is weak on its own. Without God's Spirit, we live under the shadows of sin and death. But with God's Spirit, we are made alive. We are set free from sin and death. The weakness of this flesh is overcome by God's Spirit in us making us live with strength and hope.

Those who live according to flesh desires flesh and the world, but those who live according to God's Spirit desires Spirit. Under the flesh, we keep on desiring temporary things that can never satisfy us. However, in the Spirit of God, we are made to desire, hunger and seek more of God's grace in our lives. God's Spirit makes us want to dive in more of knowing and opening our lives for God to pe*****te.

Also, while living under the flesh, many people keep on seeking a place here on earth - to be accepted and be on special spot. However, those who live under the Spirit of God only seek one special position and identity - that is to be called children of God. As God's Spirit lives in us, we were adopted into sonship that we may call Him "Abba, Father" and be known as His children.

May we all put into our hearts that the Spirit of God who lives in us makes us alive even when our flesh is weak, builds in us the desire to dive closer to God, and gives us the identity as God's children.

# special thanks to our visitor, Pastor Kim for sharing his life, prayers and blessings to us.

All Glory to God alone!

"Away from the Body, at Home with the Lord" (2 Corinthians 5:8)

Apostle Paul boasts on things he had suffered from different circumstances (2 Corinthians 11). For him, grace is sufficient in his weaknesses.

As a back up singer in the praise team, Bro. Clinton had so much sacrifices unknown to many. Their house is really far from the church. Whenever he joins Saturday practices it is expected that he will reach home late at night.

Sometimes, because of his meekness, he would pretend to sleepover to a friend's house simply because he did not want to be a burden to the church, then secretly walks in the dark for an hour only after all members of the team had gone home.

Hearing this testimony breaks my heart for the things we cannot fully provide to all the faithful servants because of our limited resources; but at the same time, this made me praise God for a faithful soul who is willing to walk the miles from home to church just to do their best for the Lord.

Just like this, to suffer for Christ is gain. We may choose to be away from the body, to sacrifice for awhile, and try our best to serve God in our weaknesses. What do we gain? It's spiritual strength, its maturity in the service, and deeper purpose of our life.

For this, we salute all humble servants out there. Others may not know the little sacrifices you do and may not appreciate the things you do, but our Almighty God sees everything. The Lord sees our weaknesses and sacrifices and surely repays them according to His richness.

In prayer and Faithfulness, may we always choose to be home with the Lord at all times.

Jesus be praised in the lives of humble servants!.

Remember God who is great and awesome! (Nehemiah 4:14)

VBS 2026 has just been concluded with the theme: Surf shack: Catch the Wave of God's Amazing Love held last May 14-16,2026.

Ministering to 30 children this year is an amazing grace and blessing for us.

It is an opportunity from God to serve these children with God's word, training their young minds and hearts with the truth, and building the Kingdom of God through their young spirits.

All glory and thanksgiving to God, whom we please with all the ministries we do, as He sustained us with courage, strength and purpose aligned to His will. ~ Thank you God for the gift of faith, commitment and victory of our VBS.

Thankful also to all the sponsors who extended their financial blessings in support to our activities. Even in limited resources, they were still able to share with love and sacrifices. ~ The Lord sees and repays your kindness.

Grateful as well to all the youth who served as teachers, assistant teachers and runners. The children may have been hyper active with so many needs and demands, yet these youth have extended their patience and love towards the children. These youth were just the students 10 years ago, but now, they can fully serve the younger generations. ~ The Lord equip you more in the service to His Kingdom.

So amazed also to all who prepared and served our food from the first day of the program until its closing. They have filled our stomachs with delicious meals which every children and all participants enjoyed. ~ The Lord bless the work of your hands.

Moreover, thankful to all parents who entrusted their children to be equipped with God's Words during VBS. Thankful for their trust and support. Their Love to God's word is evident on how they allowed their children to learn the Bible. ~ The Lord bless your Parenthood.

Finally, thankful to all dedicated prayers. The success of our activity is a product of your warm prayers.

To all the children whom we ministered during the VBS 2026, keep God's Word because it is your life. Continue to grow in the knowledge of Him.

Our roles do not end here, rather we are called to serve these children and lead them to Christ Jesus everyday of their lives.

Soli Deo Gloria!

《Mission Story》

Ah..!! God’s ministry and the Holy Spirit’s mission work..!

Not long ago, while we were staying in Korea for about two months for hospital checkups after leaving the mission field for a while, we received a few photos.

They were pictures of elementary grade 6 and middle school grade 1 students practicing musical instruments..!!

The moment I saw those pictures, one thought immediately came to my heart:
“Ah..! A new praise team is being prepared again..!”

Our daughter (Pastor Aiza) we raised through the Gospel, as the 1st generation, has now trained the 2nd generation. Then the 2nd generation praise team trained the 3rd generation.

And now, even on their own, they are choosing younger children and forming a 4th generation praise team...(Hallelujah!)

Also, while we are away, they decided to hold a 3-day summer Bible school from May 14–16.
The daughter pastor and the young people will lead it together..!! ^^

After more than 20 years of ministry in Korea and 15 years of mission work in the Philippines, God has continually made us realize this:
“It is God who leads the ministry and missions through the Holy Spirit.”

During the COVID-19 pandemic, we could not return to the mission field for more than two years. But when we finally returned, we saw that the mission church had grown even more while we were away.

Again and again, God shows us that He is building His kingdom through our daughter Pastor Aiza and the young people He has raised by the work of the Holy Spirit.

Now, as my wife (samonim) and I prepare for administrative retirement when I turn 70 in April 2027, we have decided to continue our mission work.

We know that we will grow older, weaker, and slower.
But because we have seen how God has worked through the Holy Spirit until now, we believe He will continue to work through us even as we age and become weaker.

With this heart, we will return to the mission field on May 27. ^^

We praise this wonderful God and sincerely thank all of you. (Amen!!)

또한,
코로나 19 펜데믹 동안,

"Good Soils for God's Words"

Jesus has spoken the Parable of the Sower (Matthew 13:1-23) illustrating 4 different kinds of listeners in the Kingdom of God:
1. Path: hearers without understanding
2. Rocky: fleeting hearers
3. Thorns: worry some and deceitful hearers
4. Good soil: fruitful listeners

We are already so blessed to have the access to God's Words through the Bible. We can open our Bibles anytime anywhere. We can go to church and listen to preaching. We can search it on websites and posts, and in every testimonies we hear.

Yet among the many church goers, bible readers, professed Christians, we listen to God's Words differently. We have different ways on how these Words of God sink into our lives.

Today, we visited Sis Rhea and Sis Lovely who are both mother's now. They shared how amazing God is in every situations in their lives. They shared to have deeper understanding of their Mother, Sis Maricel, only when they themselves have become mothers. With their experiences now as parents to their babies, they knew the heart and sacrifices of their own mother.

Like this, God's Word sinks and grows into our lives when we are in the position of being a good soil - ready to listen, obey and be filled with God's Words through our daily encounter with Him. With a spirit and heart that is ready for God we can comprehend God's will for us while living in His Kingdom.

Let's pray for one another that as we go to Church, as we pray, and as we meditate the Bible, the Holy Spirit will give us the understanding.

Remember what Apostle Paul said through
1 Corinthians 3:6-7: "I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow. So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow".

As long as we are willing to be filled with God's Words, surely Spiritual Growth and Maturity is evident to those who are listeners to His Words because God makes us grow.

Glory to God!

"Don't Worry, I Trust God"

Jesus said
[25]“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?
[26]Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? (Matthew 6:25-26)

We all have worries in life especially when tested by circumstances.Young and old have things to worry about everyday. But if the birds and the fishes are well provided, how much more God, the Jehovah Jireh, provides for His faithful servants?

Most especially, Life is more than living for material things and earthly desires. As Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”

Sis. Weng, Sis Monina, and Sis Norma had confessed that they had so much worries as mother's, yet they testified that God's faithfulness helped them overcome their worries in life.

When we fully trust our lives to God in everything that we do, guided by His Spirit, and in Obedience to His words, there is no room for worries but only assurance of God's faithfulness.

RJ, one of the Church Sunday Schoolers who always profess to be a pastor preaching the Gospel of Jesus someday, quoted John 14:14 "You may ask me for anything in my name [Jesus], and I will do it."

When we trust God, the lesser we worry. But when we worry, the lesser we Trust God. For this reason, may we all choose to trust God and to not worry.

Therefore, let us seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. (Matthew 6:33)

Remember our Jehovah Jireh. He provides!

"You will be my people and I will be your God"

Today, we meditate upon God's word through Ezekiel 36: 24-28

By the Holy Name of God, He fulfills His promises through the Lord Jesus Christ.

1. Cleansing - Ezekiel 36:25
[25]I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols.

Through the blood and death of Jesus Christ we are forgiven and justified from our sins and cleansed us from our impurities. By His death, we die and cleansed us from our sins.

2. Renewal - Ezekiel 36:26
[26]I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.

Through Jesus resurrection we have a new life. As He conquered sin and death, we resurrect into new being.

3. God's Spirit - Ezekiel 36:27
[27]And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.

Through faith in Jesus, we receive the Holy Spirit who guides our daily life to follow God's Words.

Ezekiel 36:28
[28]Then you will live in the land I gave your ancestors; you will be my people, and I will be your God.

Only through Jesus we are given the right to become Children of God...

~~~~
So grateful that God found my family and brought into salvation. If there is one thing we could be grateful for is that Jesus saves us.
Indeed, we are not worthy but God's grace through Jesus Christ covered us all - forgiveness of our sins, gift of renewed life, and becoming the temple of the Holy Spirit in spirit. We didn't do this, Jesus did this for us. This is gift we receive through faith.
Forever in Awe.
Thank you, Jesus!
"Carry Each Other to Jesus"
Mark 2:1-12 is a story of the four thoughtful men who carried a paralyzed man on a mat to Jesus. Though there was no room for them through the entrance, they made a way through the roof just for the paralyzed man to seek healing from Jesus.
Jesus primary response was "Son, your sins are forgiven." The cultural understanding of the people during that time is that "severe sickness" is the result of sin. Jesus in this moment offered forgiveness more than the healing - Healing the paralyzed man not just physically, but deeply and completely.
What we need in life is Jesus' Forgiveness to our sins. Only then can we live a new life and be free from darkness. Only then can we have a different perspective in life and be thankful even in little blessings. Only then can we face life victoriously even in a crisis. Only then can we have deeper peace in our hearts.
Also, today is an utterly amazing work of God and the realization of His Words. Just like the faithful friends who carried the paralyzed man for healing, we too can be like them.
Without prior knowledge of what passage will be shared by sis Cheryl, we were blessed to be able to serve not only Sis Mercy and her family, but there were 3 invited guests as well who joined us in this prayer meeting.
With realization, Sis Mercy indeed has become like the four men who brought friends to Christ today.
We may not have gold and silver to offer each other, but praying and inviting them to Jesus is how we carry each other in spirit.
Let us carry our spouses, our children, our relatives, our neighbors, and our friends to Jesus. Let us carry each other closer to Jesus for inner healing and change of life.
To God be the Glory!
"Called according to God's Purpose"
Today, we celebrate the milestone of Sis Cheryl as she receives her Bachelor's degree in Theology as the Church's Youth Pastor.
I remembered praying continuously to God for a companion in the ministry. Since the very first time my Spiritual Father, Pastor Park, had been preparing me to take over the church, I seek God's mercy to bring a faithful servant for the church.
I honestly had been thinking that this servant would come from the community and join the church. But little did I know that God's plan was to raise a servant from the church family. The Lord has been quietly raising and preparing a special soul among my Sunday schoolers to be committing unto the service to the Lord.
Four years ago, many of the youth in the church were to enter college. Some enrolled in education, psychology, medicine, criminology, business, and communication. To my surprise, Sis Cheryl has the heart to become a pastor. She firmly decided to enter the Bible School to be trained as a pastor for four years.
When I asked her, "Are you really sure you wanted to be a pastor?" She certainly answered "yes". Even her parents were very supportive of what Sis Cheryl desired to do as she follows the Lord Jesus.
It was and will be a difficult path for her, but we believe that when God calls us for a specific calling, He will surely support us with His grace all throughout.
Romans 8:28 reads "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."
Four years was a difficult training in the Bible School. But thanks be to God, all the sufferings were worth learning.
I never stop praising our Heavenly Father as I see the heart of servant, commitment, and passion of Sis Cheryl as we do the ministry of God in the church together.
Let's pray for Sis Cheryl's pastoral growth and support her journey as she answers more to God's Call in her life.
Thank you, Jesus.
