Theme: Faith Forward
Speaker: Bro Nelson Palispis
Text: Hebrews 11:1
Joshua 4:1-7, Phil 3:13-14

Anniversary is a milestone.
Sometimes, people can relax and be complacent.
Church Anniversary celebration is not a retirement party but a refuelling station- recharge, refocus, to continue the journey ahead

As we celebrate
True biblical faith should move forward.

Faith Forward means:

1. To remember the stones of faithfulness - no looking back
illustration: rearview mirror is smaller than the windshield, and is used for just a quick glance
Too many Christians are moving forward but their minds are paralyzed by past hurts, disagreements and fears of the unknown.
God calls us to move forward and not backward.
Application:
Our church history is full of memorial stones, He used people to sacrifice despite financial hurdles, and they are a great blessing. We look back to build confidence in the Lord and fuel our trust in what we have planned as a church.

2. Forgetting what is behind
Phil 3:13-14
Apostle Paul's past: he was a persecutor, chose to forget
Past failures of a church can cause shame and paralyze us.
It should not hinder us in serving the Lord, his ministries.
Some dont volunteer to ministries,missions

3. Refuse the trap of complacency.
Apostle Paul has lots of achievements but he did not become complacent and said,
"I have not yet arrived.."
How can the lost be saved if we don't tell them the gospel?

Complacency- Self-satisfied, where an individual becomes spiritually stagnant to disobedience to God's will.
We should always pray for guidance so we could share the gospel.
1 cor 15:1-4
Prov 1:31
In the book of Deuteronomy, Moses warned the Israelites not to forget when they enter the Promised Land.
We can be complacent sometimes after God our prayer.
To move forward, we must release the yesterday's past, failures and clear the path God intends us to do.
We should be more inspired and motivated to serve the Lord more.

4. Faith Forwards requires leaving the comfort zone.
Heb 11:8
What is hindering you to minister to your family, neighbor, friends and others?

5. Faith forwards is anchored in eternal assurance. -looking forward to eternal city
Moving forward is terrifying especially when we're trusting our abilities, effort, work, our selves.
When we're planning something, we should rely on God alone.

Steps of Forward Faith:
1. Pray and surrender to the Lord
Caution: pray and claim it
God answers our prayers acc to His will
2. Encourage others to move forward
Jesus is the ultimate destination.

Trust God's plan.
Choose faith over fear.

Challenge:
What's ur plan for the next ur, 3 or 5 yrs?
Whataver it is there must be concrete actions.
We must rely on God's provision even if there are hindrances.
Move forward with intentionality.
Faith as verb - it demands action. U cannot stand still and no action. U have to move forward

Call to action:
What step of obedience God is asking you to step out of ur faith and share the gospel?

The Lord be praised alone for His Wonderful Works in Bugnay, Candon, Ilocos Sur

With grateful hearts and overflowing joy, the church celebrated its 1st Anniversary last May 9, 2026, in Bugnay, Candon, Ilocos Sur.

Truly, the Lord has been faithful through every season. What once started as a simple Bible study became a testimony of God’s grace, provision, and perfect timing.

We praise God for using Ptr. Marvin Boduan to share His Word during this blessed celebration.

Theme: “Saved to Shine”

📖 Matthew 5:14–16
“Ye are the light of the world… Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

Through the message, we were reminded that we are:

1. Saved to Share the Gospel
* Let us not be secret Christians.
* May we boldly proclaim the Good News of salvation in Christ.

2. Saved to Help Others
* Pray for one another. Love one another. Give to one another.
* Let others see the good works that glorify God.

3. Saved to Intentionally Follow the Lord
* “Let your light shine.”
* May our lives continually reflect Christ wherever God places us.

4. Saved to Nurture the gifts God has given unto us
* Let us have the heart of a servant, using our gifts for God’s glory
* We are saved not only to receive blessings, but also to serve for His glory.

5. Saved to Exalt God
* May all honor, praise, and glory belong to the Lord alone.

We also thank the Lord for all those who became part of the very first Bible study in Bugnay before the pandemic. Though the gatherings eventually stopped during those difficult times, God never forgot His work in this place. In His perfect will and timing, the ministry was visited once again, revived, and continued by His grace.

Truly, what God starts, He is faithful to sustain.

The church would also like to express heartfelt gratitude to all volunteers from different places who helped in the building of the chapel. Your labor in the Lord is never in vain.

Thank you as well to everyone who gave financially and to all our prayer partners who continually supported the ministry through prayers and encouragement. God used each one of you to make this work possible.

May the Lord richly bless you all, strengthen you, and continue to use your lives as lights for His glory.

To God be all the glory!

✨ Ladies Fellowship | April 26, 2026 ✨
Speaker: Sis Virginia Cosinte

What a joyful and blessed time of fellowship! We were reminded of how Philip modeled sharing the Good News with a heart aligned to God:

• Sensitivity (v.26) – being aware of others’ needs and feelings
• Availability (v.27) – ready to respond when God calls
• Initiative (v.27–30) – stepping out in faith
• Tactfulness – speaking with grace and wisdom
• Precision (v.35) – clearly communicating the Gospel

Discipleship is not casual—it is a calling and a command. As taught in Matthew 28:16–20 and Luke 14:25–33, being a disciple means surrendering everything and allowing God to take full control.

May we all follow God’s command wholeheartedly and share HIS truth with love and courage. 🙏💛

San Emilio Outreach (April 19, 2026)

We were blessed by the preaching of God’s Word, along with testimonies of praise and songs offered to God.

Speaker: Bro. Dexter Dicman
Text: Luke 17:1-19

God's Word reminded us that we “must” forgive—especially when there is repentance, a command from our Master, our Lord Jesus Christ.

Luke 17:3-4 "Pay attention to yourselves! If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him, and if he sins against you "seven times in the day", and turns to you seven times, saying, ‘I repent,’ you must forgive him.”

We don’t forgive because it’s easy.
We forgive because our Master has commanded us—our Lord Jesus Christ, in whom we have been forgiven. And by His grace, through faith, He enables us to obey what He commands.

True faith is evidenced by a heart that returns to Christ with praise and thanksgiving. (Luke 17:11–19)

MCLC Married Believers Fellowship

We praise and thank God for the Wallis Family for hosting our fellowship.

Speaker: Bro. Abel Wallis
Topic: Leave and Cleave
Text: Genesis 2:18

God's design for Marriage
1. The Need for Companionship (Not Just Survival)

“It is not good that the man should be alone.”

- Humanity was created not merely to survive, but to live in relationship.
- No one is meant to be a “one-man army.”
- Marriage is intentional, not accidental—it is part of God’s design.

* Courtship should be pursued with long-term commitment in mind, not temporary emotion.

2. The Joy of Unity (Genesis 2:23)

Marriage brings a deep sense of belonging. It is a sharing of life and identity—two distinct individuals becoming one (Genesis 2:24).

Husband and wife give and commit themselves to one another.

“Do not laugh at the choices of your spouse—you are one of them.”

Your spouse is not your enemy; they are your partner and one with you.
Unity is something to celebrate and protect.

We must guard our unity from:
- unhealthy outside influences (third parties)
- misplaced priorities (work, and even ministry when it replaces family)

Marriage is more than physical—it is a comprehensive unity:
- spiritual (shared faith in Christ)
- emotional
- physical
- intimate (within God’s design for marriage)
- purposeful (pursuing God’s will together)

The Principle of Leaving
Text: Genesis 2:24
“Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother…”

Marriage requires a shift in priority: your spouse becomes your primary human relationship.

This does not mean neglecting or dishonoring parents.

Clarification (Biblical Balance):
- We are still commanded to honor and care for our parents (Exodus 20:12; 1 Timothy 5:8).
- “Leaving” means a change of primary loyalty and dependence—not abandonment.
- Emotional and decision-making independence from parents is necessary for a healthy marriage.

Applications:
Set healthy boundaries with family.
Make decisions together as husband and wife, not controlled by outsiders.

The Principle of Cleaving
Text: Genesis 2:24

“…and hold fast to his wife…”

- “Cleave” means to hold firmly, to remain faithfully attached.
- It speaks of covenant commitment, not just feelings.
- Remain committed even when feelings fluctuate.
- Love your spouse faithfully as a daily choice (cf. Ephesians 5:25).

Applications:
Invest intentional time and effort into your marriage.
Practice quick forgiveness (Ephesians 4:32).
Build habits that strengthen your relationship.

God’s Role in Marriage
Text: Matthew 19:4–6

Marriage is divinely joined by God.
- It is not merely a contract—it is a covenant before God.
- God is actively involved in the union.

What God has joined together, man must not separate.

Conclusion:
Marriage is not just a command—it is a covenant lifestyle before God.
* Leave — reorder your priorities
* Cleave — remain faithfully united as one
