I hope you find a safe space where your feelings will not be invalidated and used against you.

A safe space that won't make you feel like you are constantly walking on egg shells.

A safe space that will allow you to speak and be real, not be blamed for being true.

You belong to somewhere you will feel free, loved cared for and understood.

To others, their safe space is a person.
To me, it is God.
For I realized that no one can truly understand our hearts better than the One who made it.

I hope you find your safe space too.
Have a blessed weekend.

You have searched me, LORD, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue you, LORD, know it completely.
Psalm 139:1-4

If our hearts condemn us, we know that God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything.
1 John 3:20

Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.

At this point, if you made it through, it is not you.

It is God.

If you have felt before that joy will never come again yet here you are, receiving unexpected blessings, it is not you.

It is our mindful and gracious God.

This year could be a year of joy and of sorrow, yet the only reason why we have the strength to go through another day, is because His grace sustained and continually sustains us.

In our weakest, He meets us. Everytime we humble ourselves and surrender to Him, He gives sufficient grace (James 4:6, 2 Cor. 12:9).

It was His grace which carried us, and through the same grace available to those who believe in Him in the name of our Lord Jesus, we will be able to face the new chapter with courage not because of what we can do but because of Him who loves us.

“I have cared for you since you were born.
Yes, I carried you before you were born.
I will be your God throughout your lifetime—
until your hair is white with age.
I made you, and I will care for you.
I will carry you along and save you.”
Isaiah 46:3-4

In highs and in lows, in lack or in abundance, even if the Lord gives, or if He takes away, may our hearts still say,

"Blessed be the name of the Lord."

“..not my will, but Yours, be done.”
Luke 22:42

Hello, I just want to share a quick story about where I am right now.

I have dreams in my heart-plans I have written in my journal with timelines I had set which I hoped to be fulfilled. In my mind, and as a planner myself, I believe that everything will go smoothly.

But it did not happen.

I was frustrated and disappointed with myself. Questioning my choices and priorities.

Did I dream so big? Am I up again for another season of waiting?

Then I remembered His word..

“Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the LORD’s purpose that prevails.”
Proverbs 19:21

Today, if you are that person same as me, dreaming of things to happen with timelines already set and prayed for, my prayer is together, may we not lose heart. May we not fail to hope that with His wisdom in His own perfect time, AND IF IT IS ACCORDING TO HIS WILL, it will come to pass. It may not be what exactly what we planned, but surely the Lord, who establishes our steps and makes our paths straight will exceed whatever it is in our hearts for our good and for His glory.

It is the Lord’s purpose that will prevail, no matter where we are, no matter how many failures we encounter. And that gives us an assurance, that all will be well. What we have to do is to accept His timing and allow Him to work out the details according to His plans and purpose.

Now, It may look like our plans haven’t materialize yet, but His purpose prevailed. His purpose perhaps is to strengthen our hearts to wait for Him, to prepare us for the things He will entrust us, and most importantly I believe, is to refine our character towards the image of our Lord Jesus Christ.

May the joy of the Lord be our strength in this season and in the seasons to come. And may we never forget, that He has made everything beautiful in its time (Ecc. 3:11) for what no one ever saw or heard, what no one ever thought could happen, is the very thing God prepared for those who love Him (1 Cor. 2:9).

Do everything you can to cleanse yourself of such. 🌱

When you are hoping for something to happen, waiting has never been an easy task. Similarly, choosing God's will and timing instead of your own could be a struggle too.

There might be prayers in your heart which you are longing to be fulfilled.

“When God, when?”

My prayer for today is that may we all be reminded that God knows every prayer we utter, in shouts or even in silence. He is a personal God who knows us in a very intimate way, so much better than we know ourselves.

Let us be encouraged that in His perfect time, we will see the dreams He has placed in our hearts unfold in front of us. There is a timing for all things in our lives, and there is safety in being in God's perfect will. Let us praise Him for His wisdom which is greater than our own understanding, for He knows what we need even before we ask, and He knows what is best, even if at times it is not what we want.

No matter how big or small our prayers are, if it is according to His will, He will make it happen. That is why we can be hopeful and thankful even in the waiting, for His answers will always be for our good,

but most importantly,

for His glory.

"Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done."
Luke 22:42

“Dear God, I feel so alone.”

Who among you has uttered such words one point in your life?

I did. A lot of times.

I remembered those moments when I felt like no one truly understood what I was going through. All along I thought I was fighting my battles alone because who will really care about me, really? Who would love to still stick with me despite my piling burdens?

But during those difficult situations when loneliness pushed me to give up, that is when I found that He is with me. His presence provided comfort and assurance that He knows me well yet, He has not abandoned me.

Our God is the same yesterday, today and forever. In the tabernacle and in the temple of the Israelites, He dwelt in the midst of His people. In the new testament, His physical presence is seen through our Lord Jesus Christ (read John 1:14). Now, we have the Holy Spirit, the personal presence of God Himself whom He sent in the name of Jesus (read John 14:26). Indeed, though we walk in the valley of darkness, we should not be afraid because He is with us!

He never left us. And He is right alongside us, closer than what we think.

Closer than the air we breathe.

He is near.

Why am I discouraged?
Why is my heart so sad?
I will put my hope in God!
I will praise him again—
my Savior and my God!
Psalm 43:5

I can never escape from your Spirit! I can never get away from your presence! If I go up to heaven, you are there; if I go down to the grave you are there. If I ride the wings of the morning, if I dwell by the farthest oceans, even there your hand will guide me, and your strength will support me. I could ask the darkness to hide me and the light around me to become night— but even in darkness I cannot hide from you.
Psalm 139:7-12

The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth.
Psalm 145:18

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:6-7

Maybe some of you feel troubled because of difficult situations you are facing. It could be about your health, finances, work, relationship or just the thought that tomorrow is coming.

With all these things in your plate right now, may you never forget to ask God for help. Most of the time, when we feel helpless, that is when the real Help is then recognized.

Where will your help come from?
YOUR HELP WILL COME FROM GOD- The maker of heaven and earth.

Is there anything too hard for Him?

Now this is what the LORD says—He who created you.. and He who formed you.. “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; you are Mine.”
Isaiah 43:1

Do not Fear.
Remember who you are and whose you are.

I sought the Lord, and he answered me; He delivered me from all my fears.
Psalm 34:4

TRUST and have FAITH, He never fails!
