𝐔𝐂𝐂-𝐄𝐓𝐒 𝐎𝐧𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧
As Union Christian College takes strides of expanding its opportunities to offshore collaboration, it ensures that its grounded extension programs with the local communities.
Among these home-based collaborations UCC have entered into is with the Ecumenical Theological Seminary in Baguio City, a sister institution (of UCC) catering to future pastors of the United Church of Christ in the Philippines.
This November, coinciding with the 114th Founding Anniversary celebrations of UCC is the opening of the UCC SERVE PROGRAM through the MASTER OF ARTS IN EDUCATION EXTENSION PROGRAM (with the School of Education, Arts and Sciences).
In this SERVE Program, UCC provides instructional support to ETS student pastors in earning the units required of them in their ministerial studies.
For the Track 1 of their second semester, UCC Offers them the following courses: Science, Technology and Society (under Dr. Cherrel G. Ignacio), Mathematics in the Modern World (under Prof. Mercelita M. Esperon), English 1 (under Prof. Rowena Galangco), and Contemporary World (under Prof. Teofilo B. Damoco).
Meanwhile, the ETS Professors and students, with Union Theological Seminary, Das Marinas, Cavite, also assists Union Christian College in reviewing its Bible courses from grade school to the graduate program.
