The Maryhurst Mission Seminary joyfully extends its heartfelt congratulations to 𝐑𝐞𝐯. 𝐅𝐫. 𝐌𝐞𝐢𝐥 𝐔𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐥 𝐋𝐮𝐳𝐚𝐧𝐨 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨, 𝐂𝐈𝐂𝐌, a CICM missionary serving in Brazil, on the grace-filled celebration of his Ordination to the Sacred Order of Presbyter. This sacred moment marks a new chapter in his missionary vocation and his total gift of self in service to God and His people.

As you begin your priestly ministry, may Christ, the Eternal High Priest, continually strengthen you with His grace and guide you in bringing the Gospel to the people entrusted to your care. May your priesthood be a living witness of faith, love, and missionary zeal, and may Mary, Mother of the Church, accompany you throughout your journey.

With hearts overflowing with gratitude and joy, the Maryhurst Seminary Community warmly congratulates 𝐑𝐞𝐯. 𝐅𝐫. 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝐄𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐨 𝐅𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐱, 𝐂𝐈𝐂𝐌 and 𝐑𝐞𝐯. 𝐅𝐫. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐩𝐡 𝐋𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐚𝐲 𝐈𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐝𝐨, 𝐂𝐈𝐂𝐌 on their Ordination to the Sacred Priesthood!

Today, we celebrate not only their generous “yes” to God’s call, but also the grace of God who continues to call and send workers into His vineyard. Their priestly ordination is a profound blessing to the Church and a beautiful witness to the missionary vocation of the Congregation of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (CICM).

As they begin this new chapter of their priestly and missionary journey, we rejoice that they will bring Christ’s Gospel to His people in different mission territories: Rev. Fr. John Ervin Mateo Felix, CICM, to the Dominican Republic, and Rev. Fr. Mark Joseph Lappay Inaldo, CICM, to Indonesia.

May the Lord bless their ministry with abundant grace, unwavering faith, wisdom, and strength. May they remain faithful to their missionary vocation and become humble instruments of Christ’s love, mercy, and compassion wherever the Lord sends them.

May Mary, Mother of Missionaries, accompany them always, and may Christ, the Eternal High Priest, guide and strengthen them throughout their priestly journey.

Two celebrations. Two blessings. One unforgettable day for St. Paschal Baylon Parish and the people of San Quintin.

Let us come together in prayer and thanksgiving as we welcome our new shepherd, 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝘃. 𝗡𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗔. This special event is a time of fellowship, gratitude and sharing the blessings of the day after Mass. It is a beautiful occasion for everyone to get together and reflect, and to build the bonds of faith and friendship in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

With sincerity and warmth, we would like to welcome the 15 new members of the community of Maryhurst Seminary. As we prepare to begin another academic year, 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙏𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙥𝙖𝙜𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙚, 𝙤𝙣 𝙗𝙚𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙛 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙧𝙚 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙮𝙝𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙩 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮,would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Saint Louis University for being at the forefront of the enrolment process, not only for us seminarians but also for the entire university community. Through your example, we are reminded that mission is lived not only through preaching or going to distant places, but also through the simple yet meaningful act of serving others with patience, compassion, and generosity.
