𝗟𝗔𝗬 𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗚𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗟 𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗦 | 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟯𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

𝙍𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙞𝙣 𝙥𝙧𝙖𝙮𝙚𝙧, 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙙 𝙞𝙣 𝙛𝙖𝙞𝙩𝙝, 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙚.

On August 31, 2026, the OLGC Lay Liturgical Ministers gathered at Saint Vincent Ferrer Parish for a meaningful Recollection and Commissioning—a day dedicated to prayer, reflection, fellowship, and spiritual renewal.

Through the meaningful reflections shared by Rev. Fr. William Jr. Guibac, the ministers were reminded of the importance of serving not only with willing hands but also with faithful, humble, and loving hearts. The recollection provided an opportunity to pause from the demands of ministry, reflect on our calling, and renew our commitment to faithfully serve God and His people.

The commissioning also served as a reminder that every ministry is a privilege and a responsibility—a call to be instruments of God's love and presence in the celebration of the liturgy and in the life of the Church.

May this gathering strengthen our faith, deepen our commitment, and inspire us to continue serving with joy, humility, and devotion. May we remain steadfast in our ministry and faithful to God's call to serve. 🙏❤️

The youth gathered with Mrs. Catherine Uyami for a simple yet meaningful time of kumustahan. We were also given a short orientation about the Legion of Mary, encouraging everyone to take part in its mission of prayer, service, and devotion.

Pope Leo XIV reminds us to “𝘸𝘢𝘭𝘬 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘷𝘪𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘢𝘵𝘩 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘎𝘰𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘭." In a world facing conflict, division, and uncertainty, we are called to respond not with hatred, but with faith, compassion, forgiveness, and peace.

Pope Leo emphasized that "𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝗲𝘀𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲" , and that the Gospel is the “𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗼𝗺” for all men and women. As Vatican News highlights, the Gospel is a gift we can share with everyone we meet, inspiring Christians to practice charity in its many forms, always seeking the “𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱” of those we support.

May we carry Christ’s message not only in our words, but also through our actions—choosing to be instruments of hope, unity, and love wherever we are.

Today’s activities were filled with teamwork and dedication as we practiced the readings for tomorrow. The Gimong officers and youth also came together for a general cleaning of the church. Small acts of service become meaningful when done together with a willing heart. 🤍⛪
