Seeing the wickedness of people, God decides to destroy the world and makes his plan known to the only righteous man on earth. Despite the teasing, Noe and his family build an ark to save themselves and the animals. Together they discover that God is as loving as He is powerful and just.

The World Changed Because of Sin

Objective: That the children will understand that death and all the problems that exist in the world came as a result of Adam and Eve’s disobedience, but God still cares about people.

Romans 5:12
Adam sinned, and that sin brought death into the world. Now everyone has sinned, and so everyone must die.

Romans 5:8
But God shows his love for us, because while we were still sinners Christ died for us.

Colossians 1:20
And God was pleased for him to make peace by sacrificing his blood on the cross, so that all beings in heaven and on earth would be brought back to God.

God Speaks to Us Through the Bible

Objective: That the children will understand the difference between stories from the Bible and other stories, and they will enjoy the biblical account of creation.

2 Timothy 3:14 -17:
Keep on being faithful to what you were taught and to what you believed. After all, you know who taught you these things. Since childhood, you have known the Holy Scriptures that are able to make you wise enough to have faith in Christ Jesus and be saved. Everything in the Scriptures is God’s Word. All of it is useful for teaching and helping people and for correcting them and showing them how to live. The Scriptures train God’s servants to do all kinds of good deeds.
