Discern divine presence

The divine presence is found
in your oneness with God.
This spiritual power
imparts goodwill to others and
promotes successful endeavors.

With God all things are possible.
His ever-presence enriches and blesses.
Divine Love holds you tight
as God’s child.
It’s meant to be this way.
You are safe in the vastness of perfection.

Know and recognize that
God is here.
Acknowledge, adhere, and persist with it.
There is no beginning; there is no ending.
Have no fear.

Our own being reflects the Divine Being,
the ever-ready, ever-available
divine presence.
Inspiration pours forth
spiritual reasoning.

The earthborn senses fade, mortal mind abates
as you find release
in the arms of divine Love,
holding you tight.
It’s all there is.

This oneness with God propels us,
corrects faulty decisions, betters relationships, improves health.
And in this infinite forever of freedom
we witness blessings
never thought possible.

Spiritually grounded prayer for the world’s children – and our own – may sound like a big assignment, but divine Love sweetens the work. “Love inspires, illumines, designates, and leads the way,” writes Mrs. Eddy (Science and Health, p. 454). May our prayers flow from God’s love for us all, and bring certain healing.

What a difference it makes when we get even a glimpse of the fact that God is the Parent of everyone. An article inspired by this week’s Bible lesson from the Christian Science Quarterly.

"God is love" comes from 1 John 4:8, a favorite Bible verse about love. 1 John 4:16 is a similar verse containing the words, "God is love."
