𝟮𝗟𝗧 𝗡𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗮 𝗔 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗼𝗻𝗴 of the 𝘗𝘔𝘈 “𝘉𝘈𝘎𝘚𝘐𝘒-𝘋𝘐𝘞𝘈” Class of 2022 is a distinguished member of the Islamic Credence Society. She graduated with highest honors in pilot training last April at the Air Education Training and Doctrine Command (AETDC) located at Fernando Air Base in Lipa City, Batangas.

Achieving the top academic position, 2LT Minong was awarded the PAF’s Commandant’s Medal. She also excelled in all flying phases, receiving the Mimicking Award, the Philippine Air Force Flying School Award, and the Air Education and Training Command Award, graduated as the second-highest overall in her class.

May Allah (SWT) bless you and make your future endeavors easier.

Serenity and gratitude filled the grounds of Melvin Jones Grandstand during the Congregational Prayer and Khutba (Sermon) for The Feast of Sacrifice or Eid ul-Adha where eleven (11) PMA Cadets from Islamic Credence Society joined the gathering of Muslims all over Baguio City. Beaming with enthusiasm, the cadets with their Imam, Cpt Al-Nasser Kasim, greeted their civilian counterparts and continued the celebration in the PMA Mosque through Salah (Prayer).

The event marks the sacred day for Islam when Prophet Ibrahim (PBUH) professed his unwavering faith and devotion to Allah (S.W.T) by willingly sacrificing his only son, Ismael, as his biggest test by The Almighty. The angel Jibril was sent by Allah to stop the slaughter and have his son be replaced with a ram. This served as a reminder not only for Muslims, but for all people, to put forth our trust in the goodness and mercy of God despite the wordly temptations and challenges that life throws against us.

Today marks the graduation day of the PMA Class of 2023. The ISLAMIC CREDENCE SOCIETY of the PHILIPPINE MILITARY ACADEMY would like to extend its congratulations to the 6 (six) PMA Muslim Cadets of MADASIGON Class of 2023.

A blessed moment of peace and solidarity for the Muslim cadets of Philippine Military Academy after offering Eid-ul-Fitr Salat (Eid Prayer) in conclusion of the month of Ramadhan. Today marks a festive occasion for our Muslim brothers and sisters around the world as they complete 29/30 days of fasting in accordance to the Five Pillars of Islam.

While it is commonly known that Muslims refrain from drinking and eating during the day, the true essence of fasting inculcates Sabr or patience in managing our negative thoughts and fighting our selfish desires. This holy month of sacrifice also teaches the importance of humility for the poor, gratitude, fear of The Almighty and the daily act of good deeds.
