Each of them has brought passion, experience, and a shared commitment to serve our community. Their leadership has been our foundation, and their impact will be felt long after the semester ends.

But as one chapter closes, we begin preparing for the next. These faces have set the bar high... who will be next to carry the torch?

We are officially preparing for the election of our AY 2026–2027 officers. Stay tuned as we look for the next set of hands ready to serve and hearts ready to lead.

Today is a day of great joy as we celebrate a woman whose life is a living testimony of service and faith. Alexie, your presence in the Mission Club has been a constant source of inspiration to every member who has had the privilege of working alongside you.

We remember with appreciation your time as our Finance Officer for AY 2024–2025. Today, we celebrate you as our Current President for AY 2025–2026. It is a joy to watch you lead with the same humility and "servant’s heart" that you have always shown as a dedicated CCMV officer and server. You have proven that true leadership isn't about the position, but about the passion to serve God and His people.

As you navigate the responsibilities of this year, may you always feel the presence of the Holy Spirit guiding your decisions and lightening your load. May your birthday be filled with the same warmth and kindness you so generously share with the mission. We are truly honored to be under your leadership and even more proud to call you our sister in Christ.

𝗞𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗧𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿, 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲 💚🐾

Last Sunday’s Kumustahan / Acquaintance Program reminded us that mission is not measured by numbers, but by presence, sincerity, and shared faith. Spearheaded by the dedicated officers and advisers of Mission Club, the gathering became a safe space to pause, listen, pray, and truly check in with one another, living out our theme, “Knitted Together in Faith: Strengthening the Foundation of Mission.”

Getting-to-know-you activities and group activities were joyfully facilitated by MC President Alexie and Vice President Jake, creating moments of laughter, openness, and genuine connection that helped break walls and build trust among everyone present.

Though only a few members were able to attend, something meaningful was formed. The participating members, together with our officers and advisers, were recognized as the 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 - a consulting and grounding circle for the organization. This was formally affirmed during the Closing Remarks by our beloved advisers, Nay Helene Cuison and Nay Betty Tumbaga.

Like carefully knitted threads, a strong foundation begins with intentional connections. From this core, the mission grows deeper, clearer, and more united. 💚

This January 25, let’s take a pause from the chaos and check in hindi lang sa attendance, kundi sa isa’t isa. We’re coming together as the Mission Club for our Acquaintance Program/Kumustahan with the theme “𝙆𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙏𝙤𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙞𝙣 𝙁𝙖𝙞𝙩𝙝: 𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙁𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙈𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣.”

Safe space ito para mag-share, makinig, magdasal, at ma-remind na hindi ka nag-iisang tumatakbo sa city na ’to. Different stories, different paces, but still knitted together.

As Typhoon passes within the Philippines, everyone is advised to take the necessary precautions and steps for disaster preparedness amidst the typhoon.

It is advised to save these emergency hotlines from government authorities. In addition, every individual should have prepared provisions such as food and water that would last within 72 hours.

Furthermore, the SLU KASAMA/SSC has put up charging stations for students to charge their devices and alternative chargers in the SLU Main Campus today, until 12:00 PM. The Water is Life station will also be open for those who want to stock their water supply.
