๐–๐ก๐š๐ญ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž โ€œ๐ˆโ€ ๐ข๐ง ๐ˆ๐Œ๐ˆ๐“๐€๐“๐„?

Do we really understand the understanding of Christ?

Most of us try to "imitate" Jesus while still holding the steering wheel of our own lives. We lean on our own understanding because weโ€™re afraid of the "discomfort" that comes with the truth.

But Proverbs 3:5-6 gives us a better way. When we stop leaning on our own fragile logic and start anchoring ourselves to the Lord, just as Jesus did, we find a peace that surpasses understanding.

God doesn't ask you to give up your understanding only to leave you empty. He asks you to surrender it so He can make your paths straight.

๐’๐จ, ๐ฐ๐ก๐จ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ "๐ˆ" ๐ข๐ง ๐ข๐ฆ๐ข๐ญ๐š๐ญ๐ž? Is it you and yourself or is it The Great I AM?

Release what you hold, and receive what He is giving to you.

This Friday is Game Night!

We are still connected with our theme 1 Corinthians 11:1, โ€œImitate me, as I imitate Christ.โ€

As we gather, letโ€™s learn more about the traits of Jesus that we are called to follow. We need to understand what it truly means to live a life like Christ. In a world full of influences, we should discern whom we should follow and what kind of example we should live by.

Let this also be a time of reflection:
Are our own characteristics reflecting Christ? โœจ

Ending our January Friday Youth Night with our invited devotionist, Ate Avarie ๐ŸŒง๏ธ๐ŸŒพ
Her message on the Former Rain and Latter Rain invited us to examine our lives - our relationship with God, our season as students, our careers, our finances, and even how we see ourselves.

Rooted in Ezekiel 26:36 we were reminded of Godโ€™s promise: not only to give us a new heart but also a NEW SPIRIT. Because transformation doesnt stop at change it begins with renewal from within.
