We celebrate a homecoming written by God and fueled by His grace. ๐ค
Our sister, Risabel, was first reached out to in 2025 to attend Sunday services at the church by her childhood friend, who happens to be a disciple. Eventually, she studied the bible and made a decision to become a disciple of Jesus.
As she entered the working world, life became more challenging. Caught between mental health struggles, work, and lifeโs burdens, she slowly drifted from the fellowship she once embraced. Yet even in those difficult seasons, many times she kept showing up to church and allowed God's word to work in her heart.
There came a time when she felt deeply lostโher purpose, her direction, and her relationship with God. But even in her darkest moment, God reached out and rescued her. He planted a seed of hope in her heart, giving her the strength to fight for her life and return to Him.
She began attending fellowship again and surrounding herself with disciples. No matter how many times she walked away, she always found herself coming back to God. Until finally, she made a firm decision: no more turning back. As she said in her testimony, "God's conviction to me, he always calling me to come back."
Risabelโs story reminds us that even in our darkest moments, God never abandons us. He meets us where we are, lifts us up, and restores what was lost.
Welcome home, Risabel. Your story is a testimony of Godโs grace and faithfulness.
