On May 23, 2026, our hearts were filled with joy as we reflected on the message shared during the celebration of the Sacrament of Confirmation. Most Rev. Rafael T. Cruz, D.D. reminded us that receiving the Holy Spirit is not only a blessing, but also a calling to live as faithful witnesses of Christ. It encouraged our newly confirmed brothers and sisters in Christ to continue walking in faith, courage, and trust in God despite the challenges of the world. Through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, may they always choose what is good, true, and pleasing to the Lord.

Bishop Raffy also emphasized in his homily that the Holy Spirit serves as our guide in moments of weakness, confusion, and uncertainty. It reminded us that God never abandons His children and continues to strengthen us through prayer, service, and love for others. The message challenged the youth to become active members of the Church and to use their talents in spreading kindness, hope, and compassion to those around them. Confirmation is not simply the end of preparation, but the beginning of a deeper relationship and mission with Christ.

As we celebrate this meaningful milestone, may the words from the homily remain in the hearts of our newly confirmed youth for many years to come. May they continue to grow in faith, humility, and obedience to God’s calling in their lives. Let the Holy Spirit guide every decision they make and strengthen them to become true disciples of Christ in their homes, schools, and communities. Congratulations to all our newly confirmed brothers and sisters in Christ — may your faith continue to shine brightly for the glory of God.

The Ladies of Charity (LOC) recently paid a courtesy call and held a meeting with His Excellency, Most Rev. Rafael T. Cruz, Bishop of Baguio to present the objectives, goals, and programs of their organization. During the gathering, the beloved Bishop commended the Ladies of Charity for their past activities and for their continuous and sustainable apostolate guided by their Spiritual Director, Rev. Fr. Jeffrey Habado.

The Bishop also shared valuable reminders and advice as the organization continues its mission of service, emphasizing the importance of ensuring that all activities and actions remain well-coordinated with the parish priest.

In a joyful and unexpected moment, the Bishop officially “RECOGNIZED and APPROVED” the said organization and even invited the group to present during the clergy meeting.

With grateful hearts, we extend our sincere thanks to Bishop Rafael T. Cruz, Fr. Jeffrey Habado, and to the parish priests of St. Vincent Ferrer, Fr. Felimon William, and OLAC Rector, Fr. Berlynden Dao-anis, for their unwavering support, guidance, and encouragement to the Ladies of Charity.

May God continue to bless the organization in its mission of charity, service, and evangelization.
