CLIENT: Ma'am, 4-day work din po ba kayo? 😃
ME: No po. Lalo na't kaming mga nandito sa frontline. 🥹
CLIENT: Ay ganun ba, di bale Ma'am, "grasya" po yan. ☺️
With those words coming from the client I assisted before na "...di bale Maam, GRASYA PO YAN.", I was like "Oo din", kahit na ganun padin yung work schedule na mayroon kami, nakakaya ko naman.
It’s been two years now serving as a Frontliner in a government office, and I can honestly say—this has never been easy. 🥹 Every single day, I meet all kinds of people: some are hard to understand and deal with, some are grumpy and quick to complain, some are demanding and some are in deep sorrow from losing the one they love. There are days when all of it leaves me feeling so drained. 🥺
Yet through every tired moment, malakas talaga ang grasya ni Lord. 🥹 Mayroon din mga clients na mababait at palabiro. Mayroon din naaappreciate at inaacknowledge nila yung service na binibigay mo sa kanila, and it feels like God whispering straight to my heart through them: “Well done, my child 🤗”. Even when I know I fall short sometimes, even when I don’t always respond perfectly — His love and mercy cover me, and He meets me with His grace after every long, tiring day.
What amazes me most lately is seeing His grace again and again—through those people I encounter. I see it at work in their lives, in every story they tell me.
Some came with broken family ties, but now there is peace—all heirs, once divided, now agree to share what their loved one left behind.
Others have escaped difficult workplaces and found calm and rest.
Some found the courage to follow their dreams, and chose to start anew. And those who have served for so many years, now retiring—they finally have now more time for their family and I can see the excitement in their eyes
And some, every benefit that they are entitled to from our office, they use it for the ones they love: to send their children, grandchildren, or nieces and nephews to school, and to care for their parents.
Looking back at how I started—this place that once was an unexpected blessing, is now my daily gift.
Because I finally understand why God led me here: to keep me humble and grounded as a public servant, and to see His grace at work in every life—imperfections and all, including my own. Truly, His love and mercy cover us completely, through His grace.
Thank you, Lord, for where You have placed me. Thank You for speaking to me and drawing me closer to You through this very service I have right now. 🥹🙌🏻✨
