Saving money for a “rainy day” is something everyone agrees is wise. But if we save with an even higher purpose in mind—storing up treasures in heaven—it’s even more commendable or praiseworthy. In truth, we only truly own what we’ve used well for Christ for his glory. Once someone learns the secret of “heavenly banking,” they’ve found the true philosopher’s stone, turning everything into eternal riches. Even the simplest things become treasures forever. A worn-out coat becomes a robe of righteousness, and a frayed or worn-out old hat a crown of glory when worn in self-denying service for Christ. We should always live for the highest and best things.

Besides we have the Holy Spirit within us to empower us or to make us able to do things that is not our nature to do, so we can function according to our purpose, to make disciples by witnessing the same gospel of Christ, using every blessing given by God for ourselves and family the most of it, but investing some of it for God's Kingdom in connection to the gospel resulting to become an instrument to save souls and to provide for the needs of God’s given mission field.

Bless the LORD, O my soul, and do not forget all His kind deeds— He who forgives all your iniquities and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the Pit and crowns you with loving devotion and compassion, who satisfies you with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. - Ps 103:2-5 (BSB)

What a list of divine blessings this is! Each one of them is worth more than all the treasures of the world combined.

If we were not forgiven, we would have carried sin forever—a weight far heavier than any mountain. And by being separated from God, we felt unhappy. True joy, peace and transformation wouldn't be possible because of the devil and without our own strength to overcome challenges in life (2 Timothy 2:26). But God had forgiven us and forgotten all of our sins (Hebrews 8 and 10). He forgives freely, fully and forever!

If we were not healed, we would have remained spiritually sick, infected by the plague of sin. But God had healed us from all our sicknesses—completely!

If we were not saved from the dangers of this world, we would never reach heaven. But God had saved us from every destruction that threatened us, commissioned us to testify the gospel (Luke 24:45-48) and make disciples (Mat. 28:19; Mark 16:15).

Earthly crowns are made of thorns, or what children might call “play-crowns.” But God crowns His people with love and compassion, and these crowns are real and eternal. They will never fade but will shine forever as crowns of life and glory in heaven.

This world can never satisfy the deepest longings of the human heart. Its riches only leave us hungrier. But God satisfies the souls of His people with heavenly things, filling all our needs with eternal realities. Thank be to our Heavenly Father through his one and only Son.

Everything is uncertain in this world and people treat joy as a luxury for the problem-free. But that is not biblical joy. Biblical joy is spirit-sustained.

"Rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer." (Romans 12:12 NLT)

Root yourself in God's promises and be joyful in any circumstances with this message by Elder Cherryl Nariz, titled "Rejoicing in Hope: Joy Beyond Circumstances."

But those who wait upon the LORD will renew their strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint. - Isa 40:31 (BSB)

The source of strength in any life must be God. We are truly unconquerable only when we work with Him protected by his unconditional love. If we want to be strong, able to resist sin, to stand firm for truth, and to touch others with healing and uplifting influence, testify the gospel to make disciples, we must abide in Christ for everything we need in life to be fruitful and strong in him, he alone is our life. His strength will then fill our hearts and empower our actions as we enjoy our prayer time and holding firm to the gospel we have.

It’s said that General Gordon, during his time in the Sudan, would place a white handkerchief outside his tent each morning for half an hour. Everyone in the camp understood its meaning and treated it with the utmost respect. No one dared to interrupt, no matter how urgent the situation, until that handkerchief was removed. Even matters of life and death had to wait. Everyone knew that during that time, God and Gordon were communing together. This communion with God was the source of his strength, and so it is with us. When we daily draw near to God and take in the refreshment of His presence, our lives are transformed.

When we make our new year resolutions, let's not forget to base it on God's word. And, always remember that you are made new by Jesus Christ.

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." (2 Corinthians 5:17 ESV)

Relate your new year resolutions to God's word with this message by Rev. Ludovico Gonzales, titled "Biblical New Year Resolutions (Part 2)."

Do you have a relationship with Christ? Jesus is inviting everyone to be a part of His family with the Father, and He is not ashamed to call us His brothers and sisters.

"Both the one who makes people holy and those who are made holy are of the same family. So Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers and sisters." (Hebrews 2:11)

This Christmas season reminds us of the miraculous birth of Jesus Christ, our Savior, who brings hope, peace, and joy to the world. This event fulfills prophecies from hundreds of years ago and invites everyone into a loving relationship with God through His only Son, Jesus Himself.

It is said in John 3:16 that Jesus offers complete redemption and forgiveness of sin, making us clean through His shed blood, bringing us perfect peace, and promising us everlasting happiness. He is the prophecied Emmanuel (meaning "God with us").

Wishing you a blessed Christmas! Let’s celebrate this season in a Christian way—through prayer, honoring Christ, and sharing His love with others.

We shouldn’t judge God’s plans because we can only see a part of what’s happening. Sometimes, we won’t understand everything until later or even after life. It’s important to trust in God’s goodness. Remember His promises and the love of Jesus. Believing in this gives us peace, knowing God always does what’s best for us.

Love is the best gift that God gives us through Jesus. Because God is Love, this gift is very special. In return, we should love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength for everything He has done for us.

We need to hold onto the gospel message and show our love and service to God. When we do this, we help ourselves and will receive all the good things God has planned for us, even before we were born.
