Yesterday became a meaningful celebration where young hearts from different BECs gathered at the Our Lady of the Pillar Parish Pastoral Hall to worship, connect, and grow together in God’s love. ✝️🤍

“𝐇𝐨𝐩𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭” 𝐑𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟓:𝟓

𝐃𝐀𝐆𝐘𝐀𝐖 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 | December 5–6

There’s hope behind every storm. Even with the typhoon, the youth of Our Lady of the Pillar Parish joined 𝐃𝐀𝐆𝐘𝐀𝐖 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, held at VMA Global College, Sum-ag, Bacolod City, with hearts full of courage. They chose faith over fear, and truly, God met us there.

It was a night filled with moments we’ll never forget. The loud jamming made us feel alive. The group prayers brought us peace. The sharing sessions opened our hearts as we talked about struggles and found strength in each other’s stories. We spent time in reflection and confession, moments that reminded us we are loved and forgiven. Between every activity, we found laughter, new friendships, warm hugs, and quiet realizations that felt like God saying, “𝒀𝒐𝒖’𝒓𝒆 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒂𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒆.”

This memorable experience was made possible through the constant guidance and support of our parish priests, Rev. Fr. Jess Elmer Ebro and Rev. Fr. Jose John Fuertes. Their trust and encouragement enabled us to participate in the largest annual youth gathering of the Diocese of Bacolod.

𝐃𝐀𝐆𝐘𝐀𝐖 wasn’t just a gathering. It was a safe space and a family. It reminded us that even in uncertain seasons, God prepares moments that strengthen us and fill our hearts with purpose. Indeed, it was a worthwhile night, an unforgettable experience, and living proof that hope is alive in every youth. 💛✨️😇
