LENTEN RECOLLECTION

The Immaculate Conception Chaplaincy, Central Ma-ao, conducted their Lenten Recollection for all Ministries yesterday, April 2, 2023, at 9 a.m. in the New Church Site, right after the celebration of the Palm Sunday.

Brother Emmanuel Trocino hosted the program, and followed by Rev. Jeric Darly Lapido, who spoke about Discipleship. Rev. Fr. Ernie A. Larida also gave a talk about Duties and Responsibilities of different ministries during the afternoon session. The aforementioned program serves as a preparation for Holy Week.

Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week, the final week of Lent. Palm Sunday is the day we remember and honor Jesus’ entrance into Jerusalem a week before his crucifixion.

Here's the glimpes of what happened earlier, right after the celebration of the mass, the Immaculate Conception Chaplaincy held a procession from the Chaplaincy to Central Ma-ao Market, where the palms were blessed as the parishioners applaud and move their palms for the blessing.

DAGYAW SA CENTRAL MA-AO

As we celebrate National Youth Day, the Immaculate Conception Youth Organization gathered for an Overnight Program and Activities last December 15-16, 2022 at the New Church Site, presided over by Rev. Jeric Darly Lapido and Bro. Trocino, Emmanuel. Almost 100 youth participants from various BECs attended the aforementioned program.

Rev. Jeric Daryl Lapido speaks to the youth about Ecology and Sin, with the main goal of this program being to make the youth aware of the ecological reality. Understanding how it affects personal and social issues. Putting the insights and realizations into action.
