Badian International Ministry Church celebrates Mother’s Day🌺❤️
To every mother, mama, nanay, mommy, lola who stands in as mom — today we pause to see you.
You are the first hands we ever held, and often the last ones we reach for when life gets heavy. You’re the alarm clock before sunrise, the tutor after work, the nurse at midnight, and the prayer warrior when no one else is watching.
Real life motherhood isn’t Pinterest-perfect. It’s burnt rice because you were helping with homework. It’s choosing their new shoes over your own. It’s crying in the bathroom so they don’t see, then coming out with a smile that says “kaya pa.” It’s loving a child through tantrums, failures, and teenage silence, and choosing to believe in them anyway.
Some of you are raising kids alone. Some are mothering children who aren’t yours by birth but are yours by heart. Some are missing your own mom today, or aching for the child you haven’t held yet. You are seen. Your kind of mothering matters too.
Proverbs 31:25-26
“She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue.”
That’s you. Clothed with strength — not because life is easy, but because God strengthens you daily. You laugh at the days to come not because you know the future, but because you know Who holds it. Your words, even the tired “anak, kaon na,” are faithful instruction shaping a soul.
Thank you for the unglamorous, holy work of showing up. Thank you for the sacrifices no one claps for. Thank you for teaching us that love looks like packed lunch, folded uniforms, whispered prayers, and second chances.
May you feel honored today not just for what you do, but for who you are. May God replenish the strength you pour out. May your children rise up and call you blessed — not just today, but in the small, ordinary days when they finally understand.
And if your mom is already with the Lord, may this day be gentle on your heart. Her love was a glimpse of God’s, and that kind of love never dies.
Happy Mother’s Day, mga inahan. Your life is a sermon, and we are listening.
Isaiah 66:13
“As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you,” says the Lord.
