In celebration of Global Youth Day which the theme is found in Acts 4:31 “Communion in Action”, a call for all of us, especially young people, to unite in faith and step beyond differences, choosing compassion over division, service over silence, and love over judgment. Sabbath is where we reconnect with God, but also where we are reminded that His love is for everyone and so is our mission. When we allow Him to fill us, we do not hold it in, we carry it into our communities, reaching out, lifting others up, and becoming part of a ripple of kindness that touches lives in ways we may never fully see. You do not have to be perfect to be used by God, you just have to be willing. So this Sabbath, come as you are, be renewed, and then go with purpose, because someone, somewhere, is waiting not just for words about God, but for a life that reflects Him. Happy Sabbath Youth for Christ!

The most terrifying detail about Noah's Ark isn't the size of the flood. It is the design of the boat.
If you look closely at the blueprints God gave Noah in Genesis 6, He was extremely specific.
He gave the exact length, width, and height. He specified the type of wood and the pitch to seal it.
In my little years, I have never thought of this! 🔥
But God left out one crucial component.
There was no steering wheel, no sail, and worse still, there was no engine. Think about how scary that is.
Noah was building a massive vessel to survive a global storm, but he had zero control over it, or over where it went.
He couldn't steer it away from rocks. He couldn't turn it into the waves. He couldn't aim for dry land. He was completely at the mercy of the water.
The Ark was not designed for navigation; just for floating.
Noah’s job was to to be the Passenger, not the Captain.
God was the Captain.
This is a picture of your life right now.
You are trying to put a steering wheel on a situation that God wants you to simply float through

“Which One Are You”?

Bible Text: “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” — Matthew 6:33

Reflection:
It is easy to be drawn to amusement, outings, and entertainment, especially when these activities promise fun and relaxation. Yet, Ellen G. White warns us:

“The desire for pleasure is eating out the spirituality of our people.”
— Counsels for the Church, p. 164

When we prioritize amusement over worship, our hearts drift away from God, and the joy of His presence becomes secondary. Sometimes Sabbath service attendance is sparse, yet church outings draw nearly everyone. This shows how pleasure can subtly outweigh our devotion. True worship is not about duty—it is about delighting in God’s presence, choosing His fellowship over worldly amusements.

Take a moment today to examine your priorities. Are you seeking the temporary pleasure of the world, or the eternal joy of communion with God? Choose worship, for it nourishes your soul in ways amusement never can.

If the church ever hurt you, I pray you find healing in the heart of Jesus—because that pain did not come from Him.

The church was never meant to be a museum for the perfect, but a hospital for the broken, the weary, and the imperfect. It’s supposed to be a place where grace is lived out, not where wounds are created.

And yes—many have been hurt by people who were meant to lead with compassion. But even when people fail, the heart of Jesus remains gentle, faithful, and full of mercy. His love restores what others broke, and His presence heals wounds that others ignored.

So if you’re broken, go to church anyway.
If you’re anxious, go to church anyway.
If you’re struggling with addiction, shame, or unforgiveness—go to church anyway.

Not because the church is perfect, but because Jesus is.

And He meets you in community, in worship, in the gathering of His people.

Don’t let the failure of man make you walk away from the God who still calls you home.
Your story doesn’t end with church hurt.

God has a place for you—a church where you can breathe again, heal again, trust again. A community that will love you, pray for you, and walk with you the way Jesus intended.

There is a right church for you.
There is a community that reflects His heart.
There is a safe place where you will grow, be restored, and belong.

So don’t give up on the church—because Jesus hasn’t given up on you.

In Him, there is grace for every wound, hope for every burden, and mercy for every heart longing to be made whole 🥹🫶🏻
