🗳️ JOHN WESLEY’S ADVICE ON ELECTIONS (Still Relevant Today!) 🇵🇭
Back in 1774, John Wesley gave three powerful pieces of advice during an election. They still speak truth in our modern world—especially as we discern how to vote with faith and conscience:
1️⃣ Vote for the person you believe is most worthy.
Let your vote be a reflection of your values—not just popularity or pressure.
2️⃣ Speak no evil of the person you vote against.
We can disagree without destroying each other. Guard your heart and your words.
3️⃣ Take care that your spirit is not sharpened against those who voted differently.
We are still one people, one body, even when our choices differ.
As Methodists—and as followers of Christ—let’s approach elections not with fear or hate, but with love, grace, and deep responsibility.
🕊️ Let's be guided by faith, not just opinion.
🤝 Let's seek truth, not just sides.
❤️ Let's remember our unity, even in our differences.
