𝗗𝗮𝘆 4. 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗻 𝗯𝘆 𝗚𝗼𝗱, 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗙𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗛𝗶𝗺

𝗩𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲: Ephesians 1:4–5
“𝘌𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘣𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥, 𝘎𝘰𝘥 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘥 𝘶𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘶𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘊𝘩𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵…”

God’s love and desire to bring people into His family come first. Through Jesus Christ, He invites us to become part of His family, but we must also respond to that invitation through faith and obedience. As young adults, we make many choices about our identity, relationships, career, and future, but the most important choice is whether we will accept God’s invitation and choose to follow Christ. God has made the way; we must choose to walk in it.

𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
Remember that you are deeply loved by God. Choose each day to follow Christ, live according to His Word, and reflect your identity as part of God’s family.

𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:
1. Am I truly living as someone who has accepted God’s invitation to follow Christ?
2. What choice can I make today that shows my commitment to Jesus?

𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿:
Lord, thank You for loving me and calling me into Your family through Christ. Help me choose You daily and live faithfully according to Your will. Amen.

𝗗𝗮𝘆 3.𝗜𝗳 𝗚𝗼𝗱’𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗶𝘀 𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝘄𝗮𝘆, 𝗱𝗼 𝗺𝘆 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿?

𝗩𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲: 2 Samuel 10:12
“𝘉𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘰𝘶𝘴! 𝘓𝘦𝘵 𝘶𝘴 𝘧𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘣𝘳𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘺 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘎𝘰𝘥. 𝘔𝘢𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘓𝘰𝘳𝘥’𝘴 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘦 𝘥𝘰𝘯𝘦.”

God’s will is greater than our plans, but our choices still matter. In 2 Samuel 10:12, Joab trusted God while courageously doing his part. As young adults, we may not know exactly what God has planned for our future, but we are responsible for how we respond, what decisions we make, and how faithfully we live. Trusting God does not mean doing nothing— it means praying, choosing wisely, taking responsibility, and leaving the results in His hands.

𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
Do your best to make wise, godly choices while trusting God with the outcome. Your choices may not control the future, but they reveal your faith, character, and commitment to God.

𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:
• Am I trusting God while still doing my part and making responsible choices?
• What decision do I need to surrender to God while courageously taking the right step?

𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿:
Lord, help me trust Your will while making wise and faithful choices. Give me courage to do my part and faith to leave the results in Your hands. Amen.

𝗗𝗮𝘆 2. 𝗟𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗪𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲

𝗩𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲: Proverbs 12:15
“𝘍𝘰𝘰𝘭𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘰𝘸𝘯 𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘪𝘴 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘴𝘦 𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘯 𝘵𝘰 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘴.”

As young adults, we often want to make our own decisions, but wisdom means knowingwhen to listen. Rehoboam rejected the advice of experienced counselors and made a decision that brought serious consequences. We can learn from his mistake by seekingadvice from people who are wise, trustworthy, and grounded in God’s Word. Good advice does not mean we blindly follow others; we listen, pray, and carefully consider what is right
before God.

𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
Before making an important decision, seek godly advice, listen with humility, and compare it with God’s Word.

𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:
1. 2. Whose wise and godly advice do I need to listen to right now?
Am I willing to accept advice, even when it challenges what I want?

Lord, give me humility and wisdom to listen to godly counsel. Help me make choices that honor You and lead me in the right direction. Amen.

𝙒𝙚𝙚𝙠𝙡𝙮 𝘽𝙞𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙍𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙡𝙖𝙣: 𝘾𝙝𝙤𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙨

We face choices every day—small choices like what to wear, what to eat, or how to spend our time; bigger choices like handling disagreements, choosing friends, managing money, or making career decisions; and life-changing choices like whom to marry or what direction to take in life. As young adults, we may think, “It’s my life, so it’s my decision,” but every choice shapes our character and future. Even small decisions matter because they prepare us for bigger ones. God cares about all our choices and wants us to seek His guidance, follow His Word, and trust His wisdom. Our choices matter because they reflect who we are and the direction we are taking in life.

𝗗𝗮𝘆 1. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀?

𝗩𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲: Deuteronomy 30:19–20
“Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live! You can make this choice by loving the Lord your God, obeying him, and committing yourself firmly to him. This is the key to your life.”

As young adults, we face choices about relationships, career, friends, money, priorities, and our future. Every choice can shape who we become, so God calls us to “choose life” by loving Him, obeying His Word, and staying committed to Him. Not every easy path or good opportunity is the right choice. Before deciding, ask: Does this honor God, help me grow, and positively affect others? Our choices today shape our tomorrow, so choose wisely and choose what leads to life.

𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗻:
Your choices today can shape your tomorrow. Choose what honors God, builds your character, and leads you toward a meaningful life.

𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:
• Are my choices today bringing me closer to God and helping me become the person He wants me to be?

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗡 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗣

𝘋𝘪𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘨𝘪𝘧𝘵𝘴. 𝘋𝘪𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘦. 𝘋𝘪𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘫𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘺𝘴.

It’s easy to look at someone else’s life and wonder if we’re doing enough, going fast enough, or measuring up. But God has given each of us a different journey and a different purpose.

𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
As young adults, we often carry stress about the future, relationships, finances, identity, and unanswered prayers. Philippians 4 reminds us that God does not ask us to carry those feelings alone. Instead, He invites us to bring everything to Him in prayer and trust that His peace will guard our hearts and minds.

𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
When you feel overwhelmed, tell God exactly what is on your heart instead of holding it in. Pray honestly, thank Him for what He has already done, and trust Him with what you cannot control. Make prayer your first response, not your last resort.

𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿:
Lord Jesus, I bring my fears and burdens to You. Fill me with Your peace and teach me to trust You with everything I feel. Amen.

𝗗𝗮𝘆 6. 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗖𝗮𝗻 𝗜 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗹𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗘𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝘆 𝗪𝗮𝘆?

Verse: Ephesians 4:26-27 NIV

𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
Negative emotions like anger, sadness, fear, and disappointment are part of life, especially in the real struggles young adults face. Feeling them is not the problem; letting them turn into sin is. God wants us to deal with our emotions honestly, wisely, and quickly so bitterness does not grow in our hearts.

𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
When you feel hurt, angry, or discouraged, do not rush to react. Take time to pray, cool down, and think carefully about your next step. Choose honesty, forgiveness, and wise conversation instead of letting negative emotions stay hidden and grow stronger.

𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿:
Lord, help me handle my negative emotions in a healthy and godly way. Give me wisdom, peace, and the grace to let go of bitterness. Amen

𝗥𝗘𝗙𝗟𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

What we focus on affects how we feel. If we keep feeding our minds with negativity, comparison, and fear, our emotions will follow.

But when we let the Holy Spirit shape our thoughts, we begin to experience 𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙚, 𝙝𝙤𝙥𝙚, 𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚, and 𝙟𝙤𝙮 that go deeper than circumstances. 🤍

𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗟𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

When negative thoughts start taking over, shift your focus back to God. Read His Word,
pray, and remember what He has already done for you. Choose to dwell on what is true,
good, and hopeful so your emotions can be guided by the Spirit

“Lord, renew my mind and fill my heart with peace, joy, and hope. Help me focus on what pleases You. Amen.”
