πΏπere will be moments when the storm becomes so strong that fear begins to take over, but remember this: the storm does not mean that Jesus has left the boat! The disciples were afraid because they looked at the waves, but when they looked at Jesus, they discovered that the One in the boat was greater than the storm around them. Psalm 56:3 says, βWhat time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.β You may be afraid, but trust Him; you may not understand, but trust Him; you may not see the answer, but trust Him. The wind may be blowing and the waves may be rising, but Jesus is still Lord! So don't measure your God by the size of your stormβmeasure your storm by the greatness of your God! If the storm is big, Jesus is bigger; if the battle is strong, Jesus is stronger. Therefore, whom shall I fear? I will not fear the storm, because Jesus is in my boat; I will not fear tomorrow, because Jesus is already there. And if Jesus is in the boat, I may be in the storm, but the storm will not have the final wordβI will trust Jesus, hold on to my faith, and believe that He will bring me safely to the other side!
