We thank the Lord for the privilege of hosting the Monthly District 1 Pastors and Workers Prayer Fellowship last August 3, 2026.

It is a joy and blessing for us to serve the frontliners of God’s work as they gather to fellowship, be refreshed, encourage one another, and hear God’s Word. Above all, we rejoice that Christ was preached through the message, “Rest: The One Needed Thing.”

We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the officers of District 1 for allowing and entrusting us with the privilege of hosting this month’s fellowship. It is truly a blessing for our church to serve and minister alongside fellow pastors and workers in the Lord.

Together with the members of our church and our pastoral team, we look forward with joy to hosting and serving the next fellowship.

To God be all the glory! 🙏

Let's talk about idolatry.

When we hear the word idolatry, we often think of carved images or statues. But the Bible teaches that idolatry is also a matter of the heart.

An idol is anything that takes God's place in our lives. It can be our career, money, comfort, relationships, success, or even ministry. These are all good gifts from God, but when they become the source of our identity, security, or happiness, they quietly become idols.

Have you noticed how easy it is to choose work over God's Word? Or how our schedule becomes so full that we no longer have time to pray, worship, or gather with God's people? Sometimes we don't reject God outright—we simply let something else take His place.

Money is another example. Money itself is not evil, but Jesus warned that we cannot serve both God and Mammon (Matthew 6:24). When we trust money more than God or refuse to honor Him with what He has entrusted to us, it reveals where our hearts truly are.

Because God loves us, He will often remove or shake the very things we are tempted to depend on more than Him. He isn't trying to punish us; He is drawing us back to Himself. He knows that nothing in this world can satisfy our hearts the way Christ can.

This is also why idolatry is one of Satan's greatest footholds. His goal has never changed—to turn our worship away from the Creator and toward created things. Every idol competes for the throne of our hearts. But when Jesus truly reigns in our lives, every idol begins to lose its grip.

So let me leave you with a simple question:

What has been competing with Jesus for your time, your schedule, your attention, and even your money?

I pray that God would reveal any idols that have quietly taken His place in your heart. I pray that He would give you the grace and willingness to tear down those idols and pursue Christ above all things. May Jesus always remain the greatest treasure of your heart, for He alone is worthy of your worship, your trust, and your wholehearted devotion.

Here’s a message takeaway from:
Humility over Pride - 5 Ways How Humility Affects and Works in the Lives of Christians
(1 Peter 5:5–7).

Humility is not weakness, it is strength under God’s authority. It teaches us submission, breaks selfishness, opens the door to grace, exalts us in God’s time, and frees us from anxiety. Pride destroys, but humility builds, and this is the heart of the message we shared.

Taking a break from our series (The Warfare Series), we shared this special message for Father’s Day, where we honor the gift of fatherhood:
The Marks of a Godly Father (Ephesians 6:4).

A godly father leads his home in the Lord, nurtures his children in faith, disciplines with love, and disciples them in the Word. His greatest legacy is not wealth or achievement, but children who walk in truth.

Here’s the fifth message from the Warfare Series:
Defeating Deception by Discernment — Winning the Battle of the Mind (2 Corinthians 10:3–5).

The mind is the battlefield, and discernment is our shield. Satan deceives with lies, but God’s Word demolishes strongholds. Victory comes when every thought is surrendered to Christ, because only then can truth reign and deception be defeated. The warfare reminds us that the enemy is defeated, and Christ is triumphant.
