In honor of National CPR Month, Medico Sebastiano proudly stands with the community in promoting the importance of life-saving skills. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is more than a technique — it is a vital act of compassion that can make the difference between life and death.

Through our commitment to service and health advocacy, we encourage everyone to learn, practice, and share CPR knowledge. Together, let us build a community that is prepared, empowered, and ready to save lives.

Medico Sebastiano successfully concluded its second day of Certification, Retraining, and Simulation on Basic Life Support (BLS), Basic First Aid, and Crash Course on Emergency Response.

With strengthened knowledge and enhanced practical skills, our members continue to grow as capable and compassionate parish first aid responders, ready to serve the San Sebastian Cathedral Parish community with faith and commitment.

This milestone was made possible through the invaluable partnership with Eagles Rescue – Emergency Response Team NIR of TFOE–PEI and Kabalikat Civicom Metro Bacolod 500 Chapter, led by Regional Director Eagle Cesar Garcia and Team Lead Eagle Kenneth Yaplito (Director of Kabalikat Civicom Metro Bacolod 500 Chapter), together with Chapter President John Paul Cañete and Secretary April Mae Ledesma and Sir Gary Blancada, respectively.

All of these would not have been possible without the supervision and training of our mentors from Eagles Rescue - Emergency Response Team.

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to the parents of our volunteers for their support and for allowing their children to participate in these meaningful church activities.

Appreciation is also extended to the President of the PPC Council, Mrs. Quenny Moncada, and the Vice President of the PPC Council, Mr. Dennis Secong, and to all members of the PPC and PFC council, for their continued support and guidance.

Likewise, we express our deepest gratitude to our Parish Rector, Msgr. Ronaldo S. Quijano, SThD, VG, together with our Spiritual Directors, Rev. Fr. Chad Gayares and Rev. Fr. Darcy Galas, for their spiritual guidance and steadfast support.

Celebrating One Year of Service, Brotherhood, and Compassion

Today, we proudly celebrate the 1st Year Anniversary of Medico Sebastiano — a year filled with dedication, unity, service, and unforgettable memories.

From responding to emergencies, assisting communities, supporting outreach programs, and standing together in times of need, we have grown stronger as one family. Beyond the service, we also celebrate the laughter, friendship, and joy that keep our bond alive.

As we mark this milestone, we would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the people who continuously guided and supported us throughout this meaningful journey.

Special thanks to the President of the PPC-PFC Council, Mrs. Quenny Moncada, for her unwavering support and guidance. We also extend our gratitude to the Vice President of the PPC-PFC Council, Mr. Dennis Secong, for sharing his wisdom, insights, and constant support. We are also deeply grateful to the President of Eagles Rescue Eagle, Cesar Garcia, for his valuable experience and fatherly support that inspired and strengthened us throughout our journey.

We are also deeply thankful to all the members of Eagles Rescue for mentoring us, guiding us, and continuously supporting Medico Sebastiano in every mission and activity. Your encouragement and brotherhood have helped shape us into who we are today.

Serving with compassion and unity

The Medico Sebastiano once again extended their unwavering support and dedication during the successful bloodletting activity spearheaded by the Buklod-Paglaum Lady Eagles Club in Silay City.

With their commitment to service, they assisted in ensuring the safety, care, and well-being of all our generous blood donors — proving that true service goes beyond words and is shown through action and compassion.

At the same time, together with NIR2 and Eagles Rescue, relief and gift-giving efforts were conducted for the fire victims of Barangay 14, bringing hope, comfort, and assistance to families affected by the tragedy.

To all volunteers, responders, donors, and partners — thank you for embodying the true spirit of service
