Welcome to Holy Week, Villa Esperanza! Pastor Michael reminded us on Palm Sunday about unmet expectations: from "Hosanna!" (save us now) to "Crucify Him!". Jesus did not come to save the Jewish people from the Romans, but to save all people from their sins, to pay the price once for all, so that we could spend eternity with God in heaven. Are we trusting God's bigger plan when it doesn't match what we think we need right now?

Remember Resurrection Sunday service will be April 5 at normal time (10:30 AM). Bring your friends and family to celebrate Easter!

Merry Christmas sa tanan! VECC families and guests celebrated on Sunday with worship, food, and more! Pastor Dan reminded us that Christmas is not complete without the cross: the greatest gift exchange ever was when Christ exchanged our dirty rags for white robes, paying for our sins on the cross. That is why we celebrate!
