PARISH ADVISORY | BANNS OF ORDINATION FROM THE MARIAN MISSIONARIES OF THE HOLY CROSS:

The Marian Missionaries of the Holy Cross announces with joy that Rev. John Rey Ma. B. Membela MMHC (Religious Name: Clement Maria), from the Parish of Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage, Airport Subd., Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, will be ordained to the Sacred Order of Presbyters on September 15, 2026, 9:00 AM, at the San Sebastian Cathedral, Bacolod City by the Most Rev. Louie P. Galbines, SThD, DD, Bishop of Bacolod.

Whoever is aware of any impediment or circumstance that would prevent the candidate named above from being ordained to the priesthood is kindly requested to inform the Marian Missionaries of the Holy Cross (MMHC) at the earliest opportunity.

We are one in praying for the new bishop as he starts a new mission here in our diocese.

WELCOME TO AIRPORT PARISH, BP. JUN! | Most Rev. Rufino “Jun” Sescon Jr., Bishop of Balanga paid a visit to the Parish earlier this afternoon, August 10. He was received by the members of the Spiritual Children of St. Padre Pio, Rev. Fr. Raymon V. Asoy, Parish Priest, and Mr. Adrian Joseph A. Oñate RPm, Parish Pastoral Council President-Elect.

Bp. Jun is one of the bishops who will be attending the installation of Bp. Louie Galbines as the seventh Bishop of Bacolod tomorrow, August 11, at the San Sebastian Cathedral.

WELCOME HOME, BISHOP LOUIE! | Today is indeed a historic moment for the Diocese of Bacolod, as we officially greet our new shepherd a warm welcome back home: Most Rev. Louie P. Galbines, SThD, DD, the 7th Bishop of our diocese.

The welcoming of the bishop will commence later at 1:00 PM from Hinigaran, passing by Negros South Road, and Araneta Street before a welcome procession and liturgical reception from the BCGC Replica to the San Sebastian Cathedral.

The Canonical Possession and Installation of the New Bishop will be at 9:00 AM of Tuesday, August 11, at the San Sebastian Cathedral.
