This June, we begin a new 30-day series:

Guarded Heart: 30 Days of Protecting What God Is Forming in You

Every day this month, we will reflect on the condition of the heart, the battles we often hide, and the areas God wants to protect, heal, correct, and strengthen.

Because what happens in the heart eventually flows into how we live, speak, love, serve, and follow Jesus.

“Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”
— Proverbs 4:23

May this series help us examine our hearts before God, surrender what needs to be surrendered, and protect what He is forming within us.

Let this be a month of healing.
A month of correction.
A month of surrender.
A month of growing closer to Jesus.

Join us this June for **Guarded Heart**.

Finish well, not just start strong.

Starting is important.

But finishing reveals endurance.

Many people begin with passion.
They begin with excitement.
They begin with promises.
They begin with fire.

But when the season gets hard,
when the applause fades,
when obedience becomes costly,
when prayers feel delayed,
when no one sees the sacrifice,

that is where faithfulness is tested.

God is not only looking at how loudly you started.

He is watching how faithfully you continue.

Do not let weariness make you abandon what God assigned to you.

Do not let delay convince you that God forgot you.

Do not let disappointment make you quit before the harvest.

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9

Keep showing up.

Keep praying.
Keep obeying.
Keep serving.
Keep forgiving.
Keep trusting.
Keep walking with Jesus even when the road feels long.

The race is not won by emotion alone.

It is finished by endurance.

You may feel tired,
but God’s grace is still enough.

You may feel unseen,
but God has not missed one faithful step.

You may feel delayed,
but His timing is still perfect.

Do not just start with faith.

Finish with faith.

Because the one who endures with Christ
will never finish empty.

Finish well.

Finish faithful.

Finish with Jesus. 🔥

God is not impressed by sacrifice without surrender.

You can give your time,
serve faithfully,
show up consistently,
and do many good things,

but still keep parts of your heart away from God.

Sacrifice can look spiritual on the outside,
but surrender is what reveals the heart.

You can serve while carrying pride.
You can give while seeking recognition.
You can worship while resisting correction.
You can work for God while refusing to be changed by God.

But God is not only looking at what you offer.

He is looking at what you are still holding back.

“To obey is better than sacrifice.” — 1 Samuel 15:22

Sometimes we give God activity,
but avoid obedience.

We offer service,
but keep control.

We bring our gifts,
but protect our hidden compromises.

We say, “Lord, use me,”
but resist when He says, “Surrender this.”

God does not want a performance of devotion.

He wants a yielded heart.

A heart that says yes when it costs.
A heart that obeys when no one sees.
A heart that gives without needing applause.
A heart that lets Him correct, refine, and lead.

Do not confuse being busy for God
with being surrendered to God.

The altar is not only a place where you give something.

It is the place where you lay yourself down.

Give Him your plans.
Give Him your pride.
Give Him your motives.
Give Him your hidden battles.
Give Him your whole heart.

Because sacrifice without surrender
can still leave the heart unchanged.

But surrender makes room for God to transform everything. 🔥

God opens doors you cannot open.

Some doors will not move by your strength.

No amount of forcing,
no amount of striving,
no amount of proving yourself,
and no amount of rushing can open what only God is meant to open.

Sometimes a door stays closed because God is protecting you.

Sometimes it stays closed because He is preparing you.

Sometimes it stays closed because it was never part of your assignment.

And sometimes it stays closed because the timing is not yet right.

You do not have to force what God has not opened.

You do not have to manipulate your way into a place He has not assigned.

You do not have to panic just because the door has not moved yet.

“What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open.” — Revelation 3:7

Trust His timing.

Walk in obedience.
Stay faithful in the waiting.
Keep your heart surrendered.
Let God lead you without needing to understand every delay.

Because when God opens the door,
you will not have to break it down.

His favor will make a way.
His peace will confirm it.
His presence will go with you.

Do not worship the door.

Worship the God who holds the key.

Keep walking.

What belongs to you in His will
will open at the right time. 🔥

What you tolerate today can become what controls you tomorrow.

Compromise rarely looks dangerous at first.

It often starts small.
A thought you keep entertaining.
A habit you keep excusing.
A boundary you keep moving.
A conviction you keep ignoring.
A sin you keep calling “not that serious.”

But what you tolerate long enough
can begin to shape your appetite.

What you keep allowing
can slowly become what you start defending.

What you refuse to confront
can eventually become what controls you.

That is why small compromises matter.

The enemy does not always destroy people suddenly.
Sometimes he weakens them slowly.

One excuse at a time.
One hidden habit at a time.
One ignored conviction at a time.
One step away from God at a time.

“Do not give the devil a foothold.” — Ephesians 4:27

Do not wait until bo***ge becomes obvious before you surrender.

Bring it to God while it is still small.
Cut it off while your heart is still tender.
Repent while conviction is still speaking.
Choose obedience before compromise grows roots.

Grace is not permission to stay bound.

Grace is power to walk free.

Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal what you have been tolerating.

Not to shame you,
but to save you.

Because what you refuse to surrender
will eventually demand more space in your life.

Do not tolerate what Jesus died to free you from.

Choose surrender today. 🔥

Do not let offense disciple your heart.

Offense is dangerous when it becomes your teacher.

It can shape how you see people.
It can shape how you respond to correction.
It can shape how you love, trust, speak, and serve.

When offense is left unchecked,
it does not stay as one painful moment.

It becomes a lens.

You start assuming the worst.
You start protecting yourself with pride.
You start replaying conversations.
You start building walls and calling them wisdom.

But Jesus did not call us to be led by offense.

He called us to be led by the Holy Spirit.

Offense will tell you to withdraw.
The Spirit will teach you to forgive.

Offense will tell you to expose.
The Spirit will teach you to restore.

Offense will tell you to harden your heart.
The Spirit will teach you to stay humble.

“See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble.” — Hebrews 12:15

Not every wound should become your identity.

Not every misunderstanding should become a wall.

Not every painful moment should be allowed to rewrite your character.

Bring your offense to God before it becomes bitterness.

Let Him search your heart.
Let Him heal your pain.
Let Him correct your response.
Let Him teach you how to love with wisdom and grace.

Because a heart led by offense will always drift away from peace.

But a heart surrendered to God
can stay soft even after being hurt.

Do not let offense disciple you.

Let Jesus form your heart. 🔥

You cannot heal while constantly returning to what wounded you.

Healing requires more than time.

It requires surrender.
It requires distance.
It requires obedience.
It requires the courage to stop going back to what God is trying to deliver you from.

Sometimes we ask God to heal us,
but we keep reopening the same wound.

We keep returning to the same place.
The same habit.
The same relationship.
The same memory.
The same conversation.
The same pattern that keeps breaking our peace.

But you cannot keep touching the wound
and wonder why it has not healed.

You cannot keep feeding what hurt you
and expect your heart to become whole.

You cannot keep walking back to Egypt
while asking God to lead you into freedom.

There are things God is asking you to release
not because He wants to punish you,
but because He wants to restore you.

“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing!” — Isaiah 43:18-19

Let God heal what you have been trying to revisit.

Let Him close the door you keep opening.

Let Him teach you how to grieve without going back.
Let Him teach you how to remember without being controlled.
Let Him teach you how to forgive without returning to bo***ge.

Healing does not always mean everything stops hurting immediately.

But it does mean you stop making a home in the place that wounded you.

Do not romanticize what God rescued you from.

Do not call it love if it keeps pulling you away from peace.

Do not call it familiar if it keeps keeping you bound.

God has a new thing ahead of you.

But you cannot fully receive the new
while still holding hands with what broke you.

Let go.

Walk forward.

Heal with God. 🔥

Faith is not just what you declare, it is what you obey.

It is easy to say, “I have faith.”

It is easy to speak promises.
It is easy to post Scripture.
It is easy to sing about trust.
It is easy to declare that God is in control.

But real faith is revealed when God asks for obedience.

Faith is not only in what you say.

It is seen in what you surrender.
It is seen in what you choose.
It is seen in how you respond when God’s instruction does not match your comfort.

You cannot say you trust God
but refuse to follow His Word.

You cannot say He is Lord
but keep choosing your own way.

You cannot say you believe
but never move when He tells you to step out.

“Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.” — James 2:17

Faith obeys even when the path is unclear.

Faith gives even when it costs.
Faith forgives even when it hurts.
Faith waits even when it is hard.
Faith walks away when God says leave.
Faith says yes when God says go.

Because true faith is more than a confession.

It is a life that responds to God.

Do not only declare your faith.

Live it.

Obey when it is uncomfortable.
Trust when it is uncertain.
Follow when it is costly.

Because faith that never obeys
is only words without surrender.

Let your obedience prove your trust in God. 🔥

21/05/2026

Your obedience may cost you comfort, but it will never cost you God’s presence.

Obedience is not always easy.

Sometimes it means walking away from what you wanted.
Sometimes it means saying no when everyone else says yes.
Sometimes it means being misunderstood.
Sometimes it means losing approval, comfort, or convenience.

But obedience never leads you away from God.

It leads you closer to Him.

Many people want God’s presence,
but they also want to keep control.

They want peace,
but not surrender.

They want direction,
but not correction.

They want blessing,
but not obedience.

But Jesus said,

“If you love me, keep my commands.” — John 14:15

Obedience is not just a rule to follow.

It is love responding to God.

It is trust saying, “Lord, Your way is better than mine.”

It is faith choosing God’s will even when the flesh wants comfort.

Do not be afraid of what obedience may cost you.

Anything you lose by obeying God
was never greater than the presence of God with you.

The comfort may be temporary.

The pain may be real.

The separation may be hard.

But His presence will sustain you.

His grace will strengthen you.

His peace will guard you.

Keep obeying.

Even when it is uncomfortable.
Even when it is costly.
Even when people do not understand.

Because obedience may cost you comfort,

but it will never cost you God’s presence. 🔥
