After all the failures, doubts, and denials, Jesus still asked Peter only one thing:
“Do you love Me?”

Love is not about perfection.

It is about choosing Jesus again and again despite our weaknesses.

And in that love, He gives us purpose:
“Feed My sheep.”

Today’s Gospel reminds us that we are in the world, but we do not belong to the world.

May we live differently. Rooted in truth, guarded by God’s love, and set apart for His purpose. 🙏

In today’s Gospel, Jesus reminds us that we can come to the Father with confidence because of His love for us. So often, we carry silent prayers, hidden worries, and unspoken pain, thinking we are alone in facing them. But God listens. He knows our hearts even before we speak.

“Ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be complete.”

Real joy is not found in having an easy life, but in knowing that we are loved, heard, and never abandoned by God. May today be a reminder to pray with faith, trust with patience, and continue walking with Him no matter what season we are in. 🙏

Some days are light, some days are heavy.

But today, may we remember this simple truth: we are called to remain in His love.

Not in fear.
Not in pressure.
Not in the need to have everything figured out.

Just remain.
Stay connected to the One who never leaves, never changes, and never stops loving us.

When life becomes overwhelming, His love becomes our resting place.

And in that love, we learn to keep going with faith, peace, and hope.

After a week of labor, come and find rest in God’s presence, strength in community, and joy in worship. Bring your family, invite a friend, and spend the evening with your CFC-GK family.

Work with purpose. Gather with gratitude. Worship with joy.

See you there. Praise God forever!

📢 ANNOUNCEMENT: FamCon 2026 Cancellation

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Greetings of peace in Christ!

After much prayer and consultation, I would like to inform everyone that the FamCon 2026 scheduled on May 22–24, 2026 in Ormoc has been CANCELLED.

This decision was made in unity with all the Provincial Heads due to the following reasons:

• The ongoing crisis has affected many of our areas, particularly the rising cost of fuel, which has significantly increased travel expenses for our members.

• Some provinces, including Quezon City and Misamis Oriental have expressed their inability to attend due to these financial constraints.

• Many members from the host province are also unable to participate due to various limitations.

• With these circumstances, the projected attendance would be greatly affected.

In light of this, we have prayerfully discerned to cancel the event for this year.

We humbly ask everyone to continue to pray—for provision, for our communities, and for one another during this time. Let us remain steadfast in faith and united in mission despite these challenges.

Thank you for your understanding, cooperation, and continued prayers.

God bless us all.

Bro. Albert Montelibano
Provincial Head, CFC-GK Negros

MAUNDY THURSDAY REFLECTION

“I have given you an example, that you also should do as I have done to you.” (John 13:15)

Tonight, we remember a different kind of King—
One who knelt down, washed feet, and chose to serve.

On the night before His suffering,
Jesus showed us that love is not just spoken—
it is lived, demonstrated, and given freely.

In CFC-GK, we are called to serve the poor, to build homes, to uplift lives— but Maundy Thursday reminds us that true service begins with humility.

To serve not out of obligation,
but out of love.
Not for recognition,
but for relationship.

Because real love bends low.
It notices the unseen.
It chooses sacrifice over comfort.

Jesus washed even the feet of the one who would betray Him.
This is the kind of love we are called to live—
selfless, patient, and unconditional.

As we continue our mission, may we never forget:
We do not just serve people—
we encounter Christ in them.

🙏 Prayer:
Lord, teach me to serve with humility and love. Remove pride from my heart and help me to see You in the people I serve. May my life reflect the same love You have shown me. Amen.

💔 HOLY WEDNESDAY REFLECTION 💔

“What are you willing to give me if I hand Him over to you?” (Matthew 26:15)

Today, we remember Judas—
not just his betrayal, but the quiet choices that led to it.

Holy Wednesday invites us to a deeper, uncomfortable question:
In what ways have I traded Jesus?

Maybe not for silver,
but for comfort, approval, pride, or control.

In our mission with CFC-GK, we give our time, our service, our love—
but even in serving, it is possible to slowly drift.
To choose self over sacrifice.
To choose convenience over commitment.
To choose recognition over humility.

Betrayal doesn’t always look dramatic.
Sometimes, it is found in small compromises,
in delayed obedience,
in hearts that slowly turn away.

But today is not just about failure—
it is an invitation to return.

Before the cross, before the silence of Holy Thursday,
God gives us this moment to examine our hearts.

Are we still choosing Him?

Let us not be afraid to be honest with the Lord.
Because even in our weakness,
His mercy is always greater.

🙏 Prayer:
Lord, search my heart. Reveal anything in me that is not aligned with You. Give me the grace to choose You again—over and over, in the big and small moments of my life. Amen.

HOLY TUESDAY REFLECTION

“You shall love the Lord your God… and your neighbor as yourself.” (Matthew 22:37–39)

On this day, Jesus was challenged, questioned, and tested—
yet He responded with truth, wisdom, and unwavering love.

Holy Tuesday reminds us that faith is not just about what we say,
but how we live.

In our journey with CFC-GK, it is easy to serve, to give, to act—
but the Lord looks deeper than our actions.
He sees our intentions, our sincerity, our love.

Are we serving out of love for God,
or out of routine, pressure, or recognition?

Jesus calls us back to what matters most:
to love God fully, and to love others genuinely.

Not half-hearted. Not conditional. Not convenient.

Today, let us examine our hearts—
Is my love real? Is my service pure?
Am I living what I proclaim?

Because in the end, our mission is not just to build communities—
it is to build lives rooted in love.

🙏 Prayer:
Lord, purify my intentions. Teach me to love You above all and to serve others with a sincere and selfless heart. Let my life reflect Your truth and Your love. Amen.

🌿 HOLY MONDAY REFLECTION 🌿

“My house shall be called a house of prayer…” (Matthew 21:13)

Today, we remember how Jesus cleansed the temple—not out of anger alone, but out of deep love and desire to restore what was sacred.

This Holy Monday, we are invited to look within:

What in my heart needs cleansing?

What distractions, attachments, or compromises have taken the place of God?

In our mission in CFC-GK, we are called not only to build community for others, but to become a dwelling place for Christ. A heart where He is welcomed, honored, and loved.

Let us allow the Lord to gently overturn the tables within us—
not to condemn us, but to renew us.

May our lives reflect a true house of prayer—
pure, humble, and surrendered.

🙏 Prayer:

Lord, cleanse my heart. Remove anything that draws me away from You. Teach me to love what is holy and to live a life that honors Your presence. Amen.
