SCRIPTURE: MATT 14: 30-31

BUT WHEN HE SAW THE WIND, HE WAS AFRAID & BEGINNING TO SINK, CRIED OUT, "LORD, SAVE ME!" IMMEDIATELY JESUS REACHED OUT HIS HAND & CAUGHT HIM. "YOU LITTLE FAITH, HE SAID, "WHY DID YOU DOUBT?

REFLECTION:

IN THIS PASSAGE, WE WILL SEE THAT SIMON PETER'S FAITH WAS SHAKEN WHEN HE BEGIN TO DOUBT IN HIS SELF & STARTED TO LOST HIS FOCUS ON JESUS THEN HE SINK. IT IS ALSO HIGHLIGHTS THAT PETER'S CRY OUT FOR HELP IS A MODEL OF PRAYER & DEPENDENCE ON GOD, WHEN HE DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO BUT CALL ON TO GOD.

THE SIGNIFICANCE OF JESUS CALLING PETER "YOU OF LITTLE FAITH, WHY DID YOU DOUBT." IT IS A REBUKE OF LOVE OF JESUS TO PETER & THE LESSON IS ABOUT
TRUSTING HIM FULLY & NEVER DOUBT.

THE MESSAGE IS ABOUT THE IMPORTANCE OF OUR FAITH & NOT LETTING OUR TRIALS/ PROBLEMS/FEAR BE THE REASON TO DOUBT JESUS BUT TO TRUST HIM.

PUTTING THIS TOGETHER, THE KEY ARE FAITH VS. FEAR. THE IMPORTANCE OF FOCUSING ON JESUS RATHER THAN TO OUR CIRCUMSTANCES TO DISTRACT US. THE CONSEQUENCES OF OUR DOUBT & JESUS READINESS TO SAVE US WHICH WE CALL HELP TO HIM & WHEN WE CRY ON HIM. IT IS ALSO ABOUT TRUSTING HIM & FOCUSING ON HIM EVEN
IN THE STORMS OF OUR LIFE.

OUR FEAR CAN SINK US BUT OUR FAITH CAN SAVE US MOST.

I LEARN 3 THING IN THIS VERSE:

1.THE SAVIOR'S GRASP✨

👉 IN TIMES OR IN A MOMENT WHEN OUR FAITH BECOMES LITTLE. ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT OUR SAVIOR GRASP IS WITHIN REACH & WILL GIVE US AN IMMEDIATE RESCUE WHEN WE ARE SO VERY DOWN IN LIFE.

2. GOD'S HAND ARE WILLING TO SAVE US. ✨

👉JUST CALL ON HIM & REACH HIS
HAND. THE MOMENT THAT YOU
HOLD IT NEVER LET GO JUST HOLD IT TIGHTLY. NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF REACHING GOD'S HAND.

3. THERE IS A GREAT RESCUE EVEN
IN A LITTLE FAITH. ✨

👉 IN A MOMENT OF OUR FEAR OR
OUR DOUBTS. IT IS OK TO FALTER.
A CRY FOR HELP TO OUR GOD WILL SURELY FIND US & TO TAKE US
IN OUR SALVATION. DOUBT IS A STORM BUT FAITH IS THE ANCHOR. SOMETIMES, THE STORM OF DOUBT WILL RAGES WITHIN US.
IN THAT SAME MOMENT WE NEED
TO CLING TO OUR FAITH AS OUR
ANCHOR & IT IS GOD.

APPLICATION:

AS A BELIEVER OF CHRIST. WE NEED TO FOCUS ON JESUS.
WE SHOULD TRUST GOD MOST. SPECIALLY IN A MIDST OF STORM
OF OUR LIFE.

IT IS ALSO TEACHES US THE IMPORTANCEOF MAINTAINING OUR FAITH IN A MIDST OF STORM THAT OUR FAITH MUST BE HIGHER THAN OUR FEAR.

AS A BELIEVER WE NEED TO FULLY DEPEND ON GOD & KEEP OUR FOCUS TO HIM. 💖💕🙏

THE INVITATION OF JESUS ✨

1. Invitation:
☘️"Come to me"

👉This is a warm, open call from Jesus. It means He wants us to draw near to Him, bring all our worries, problems, and tiredness to Him and build a close relationship with Him. He does not push you away; He welcomes you exactly as who we are. 💖💕🙏

2. Instruction:
☘️"Take my yoke"

👉A "yoke" is a wooden frame used on animals to share the load of heavy work. To "take His yoke" means to accept His guidance, follow His teachings and let Him lead your life. It means choosing to live His way and letting Him help us will carry our burdens so we don't have to struggle all by ourself. 💖💕🙏

3. Imitation:
☘️"Learn from me"

👉This means to observe how Jesus lived, how He loved, how He was humble and how He is gentle and we need to copy those qualities in our own life. It is not just knowing about Him, but practicing His kindness, patience, and love in everything we do. 💖💕🙏

The 3 steps to live under God’s full protection:

1. RIGHT POSITION
👉( I will stay ) Stay close to God, follow His ways, and live in obedience. Being in the right place means walking with God. 💕

2. RIGHT CONFESSION
👉 ( I will say ) Speak what God says or what His Word says, not just a listener share His word to unbeliever. Speak with faith, truth and victory in anywhere and anything. 💕

3. REAL PROTECTION
👉 ( I'm safe ) When we do the first and second, we will experience God’s powerfully covering and protection in your life.

☘️To be protected by God: We need to stay close to God, speak truth and we will live safe under His wings . 🙏

We can learn to truly trust God when we spend time with Him every day. When we stay close to Him, talk to Him, and know Him more, trusting Him becomes easy and natural. The more time we spend in His presence, the more we trust Him. 💖💕🙏

Being close to God and obeying Him is what keeps us under His protection — it is not just about who we are on the ministry but how you live in the ministry.

Our ministry should be the reason that our personal relationship to God grows deeply and not just showing on 💖💕🙏
