Our bible story this month is about the " Secret of Samson's Super Strength". To introduce the story background,we group the kids and gave them a piece of manila paper with a paragraph/ paragraphs written from the story booklet.We let them read,re-:read and Read Aloud together with their group.
We emphasized the importance of obedience as what the Lord required from His chosen people,the Israelites. But punishment comes when they disobeyed Him. God's requirement for today is still the same for His children,He requires obedience. To assess on how well they understand the important words and the lesson from the story background,we gave a short quiz using the W's and H questions.

Again, we're so grateful that we can continue with our RTG class inspite of the many hindrances. Thank God for reminding the kids to come every week and for the consistent mother volunteers who spend time to cook, attend bible study and are helping us manage the children.
And of course, grateful always for our ministry partner, MEANS for your intentional prayers and words of encouragement to continue what we have started. Thank you so much MEANS..

For the past two years of ministry with this support, even though we have not been able to bring the people to our church because of the distance from their community, we have seen great improvement in their faith, especially among the children. They have become more aware of their actions and more conscious of God’s love for them. Yes, our church has not added new members, but we know that every life that has slowly come to know and accept Jesus as their Savior is a testimony of God’s work through our church. We may not have grown in numbers, but we have surely grown spiritually.

Every member of our church prays for the mission, contributes financially, and gives whatever they can for the outreach. Before, many members would simply look forward to Sunday worship and then go about their week. But now, they are personally involved in the work of the Lord and see it not as a burden, but as another form of worship to God.

A Blessed and Happy New Year to all,from our RTG kids and volunteers - Tabunan and Handumanan group.

In RTG Handumanan,we started the year by reading a very important passage from the Bible in Matthew chapter 2: 1 - 12. First,we read it by verse using Read Aloud. Then, we read again and this time searching every noun mentioned in each verse and connect them to the story. A short quiz followed to assess the kids how far did they remember the story.

In RTG Tabunan,we started the session by grouping them into 3 groups. We assigned one verse for each group. Mark 12:30 for group one,Mark 12:31 for group 3 and Ephesians 6:1 for group 2. The leader then wrote the verse in manila paper for the group to read and re- read.
Then they were task to write 3 statements as actions on how to apply the verse assigned to them. Just in time they're all almost finished and it rained so we will continue to discuss next Saturday and proceed to next activities.

Our RTG sessions in 2025 has ended. In culmination,we gathered our RTG kids,spent time with them and encouraged them to share something to thank for in joining RTG this year and write also their prayers while looking forward for 2026.

Our RTG sessions for 2025 is about to end. To culminate our class,we divided the kids into 3 groups. One group was led by Ate Johan, 1 group for Ate Messy and 1 group for me. We let them recall all their learnings and all the activities that we've done through out the year.
We handed them 2 sticky notes to write,one for the things they want to be thankful for to God and for MEANS and another piece for their prayer or desire for 2026.
By doing this small group activity we're able to assess the kids on how they took the RTG class by heart and identify who needs more help and who has improved well.

We also had a celebration for our December bday celebrants ,thank you Lord and thank you MEANS, we're consistent to making our b-day celebrants from January to December more special because they're part of our RTG program.

With this,we sincerely appreciate and we're so grateful for you our ministry partner, MEANS for faithfully praying and encouraging us to continue amidst all the challenges,and of course for the financial support that sustained all the RTG sessions from the start up to the end of the year 2025.
We appreciate the mother volunteers who gave their time and efforts for cooking nutritious meals and preparing the place. Grateful also for our committed teacher volunteers,inspite of your busy schedules, you made it a priority to help and teach..God sees your heart's desires.

Christmas Celebration with Flipflops and Spaghetti Packs Distribution

Masayang Pasko Handog Ng MEANS, Flipflops and Spaghetti Packs Distribution was extended
to our other RTG class,our RTG kids surrounding our church in Handumanan.
We did not just gave Christmas give aways but we also shared the most important gift we can ever receive,our Saviour,Jesus Christ. Children got to read by group through Reading Aloud. After reading,we discussed how these verses were connected. The book of Isaiah in the old testament prophesied the birth of our Saviour ,Jesus Christ and after more than 700 years later,the prophecy was fulfilled as we read from the book of Matthew and Luke in the New Testament.It's a promise by God that started in Genesis 3:15. Our celebration of Christmas don't just stop in a manger but it ended on an empty cross which means,Christ did not stayed and ended on the cross ,He was risen,went back to His kingdom and promised to prepare a place for those who responded to His call,and He will come again to bring those who received Him as their Lord and personal Saviour.
Our second part was the distribution of flipflops and spaghetti packs for their families.
All these were made possible because of our ministry partner, MEANS GLOBAL , with that,we sincerely appreciate your help in prayers and financial support for our RTG kids. We're here praying for all of you there for the Lord will continue to use you in reaching more people and draw them to Christ through the different ministries ,and we are so blessed to be part of one,the Read to Grow program.Thank you so much MEANS ♥️ and thank you all our volunteers and CFMBBC family .

35 pairs of flipflops were given and 28 spaghetti packs were distributed for their families

It's our 3rd week of RTG in December and it's our Christmas Celebration too.As we remember Christmas,our ministry partner, MEANS GLOBAL did remember the RTG kids by giving new flipflops for each child and a spaghetti package for each family.
As a church initiative,we also prepared a small gift to our mother volunteers.
We started our program with a warm welcome and action songs led by Pastor Reymond. Ate Messy prepared a game for the kids for them to enjoy more and learn to work as a team. After the game,we had our Read Aloud time.
We discussed the 4 verses from different books of the bible,connecting the prophecy of Isaiah in Isaiah 7: 14 and Isaiah 9:6 to its fulfillment in Matthew 1:23 and Luke 2:11, giving emphasis to the gospel and the most important character to remember during
Christmas.
We always knew that God loves the little children, that's why RTG program is for them, helping them to embrace and enjoy reading with comprehension using the different stories from the bible,hoping that as they learn to read and love reading they will come to know and recognize who Jesus is in their lives and will love to share to others too.
We invited the parents for them to see what we are doing for the good of the kids and encourage them to volunteer too.

We bring back all the glory and praises to our God for making this event special to our RTG kids and this was made possible because of our ministry partner, MEANS. Our CFMBBC family are sincerely thanking you for your generosity and love for these kids. We are grateful also for the consistent mother volunteers and teacher volunteers who are always there to give time and efforts for the benefit of the children.

Menu: Rice, veggie tuna dumplings and macaroni salad for dessert( salad is from ate Messy)

We're still in series with the story of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego " Flaming Furnace Fiery Faith".
Children were divided into 3 groups and were given materials to read and assisted by our teacher volunteers.After reading, each group were task to list all the 4,5 and 6 letter words found in the story for our vocabulary drills and part of our word wall. After they're done,we discussed each word and connected it from the story for more comprehension.
We ended with the lesson learned; wherever you may be pls don't forget the One True God who is always with you wherever you go. Just like what the three friends did,they never forget what their mothers told them before they became captives in the land of the wicked. They stood up and trust God instead of compromising with the people and the beliefs of the Babylonians.

We praise God for making this day possible. Inspite of the past hindrances including typhoons and weather disturbances,we were able to meet this last Sunday of November to remember and review our anti -: OSAEC Awareness topics such," My Safety Rules",Safe and Unsafe Touch with different scenarios wherein they will identify if it's a safe or unsafe touch as part of their activity.

We, volunteers knew that this is not a simple task to share awareness to these kids with the prayer that these little ones under our care would always be safe, though we knew that they came from different backgrounds of families plus a not so safe environment,yet we are grateful that they are attending RTG class ,so we have time to remind them,discuss with them and pray for them too. With you our ministry partner, MEANS..we were able to reach these kids and minister to them.Thank you so much MEANS..we knew for sure all of you there are praying for all the RTG kids too.
