What to look forward to this December? Here's our schedule of activities.

In this season of Advent, the joyful anticipation of Christ’s birth, our Aguinaldo masses will start this 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟔 𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐥 𝟐𝟒. Mass at the 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝘆 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗵-𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗛𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗮𝘁 𝟰:𝟭𝟱 𝗔𝗠, while 𝗕𝗘𝗖𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝗮. 𝗥𝗶𝘁𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝘁𝗼. 𝗡𝗶ñ𝗼 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝟱:𝟯𝟬 𝗔𝗠.

Let us come together in prayer, hope, and community as we prepare our hearts for the coming of the Savior.

In this season of giving, our parish will also have a gift giving during the Variety Show. The gifts will be taken from the mass offerings.

Preferred Offerings in kind:
December 16-17 = Rice
December 18-19 = Canned Goods
December 20-21 = Coffee, Milo, Milk, Sugar
December 22-23 = Spaghetti Set / Macaroni
December 24 = Condiments

𝙑𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙩𝙮 𝙎𝙝𝙤𝙬 - 𝙁𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙩
In celebration of our Parish' incoming feast day, join us for a joyful afternoon of talent and community spirit at the Variety Show, a fundraising event happening on 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟕, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 𝐚𝐭 𝟐:𝟎𝟎 𝐏𝐌 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐑𝐂𝐇𝐈 𝐂𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐭.

With tickets priced at just ₱𝟓𝟎.𝟎𝟎 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐧𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐬 (Tickets are sold at the Parish Office or you can also purchase from our BEC leaders). During the Variety Show, there will be a raffle draw for gifts.

This gathering promises entertainment with purpose, as all proceeds will support Parish programs and projects that nurture faith, fellowship, and service. Let’s come together to celebrate and contribute to a cause that uplifts our shared mission.

Diocese of Bacolod Releases Circular Letter 2025-019: Calls Faithful to Participate in Altar Servers’ Day, Christ the King Feast, and Red Wednesday

TO ALL PARISH PRIESTS, PAROCHIAL VICARS, CHAPLAINS, AND RECTORS OF CHURCHES, SUPERIORS OF SEMINARIES, INSTITUTES OF CONSECRATED LIFE AND SOCIETIES OF APOSTOLIC LIFE, HEADS OF SCHOOLS AND LAY ASSOCIATIONS, AND THE CHRISTIAN FAITHFUL OF THE DIOCESE OF BACOLOD:

Greetings of Peace!

As we are about to close the Liturgical Year, I would like to invite all the faithful of the Diocese of Bacolod to support and participate in the following Diocesan Activities:

1. ALTAR SERVERS’DAY 2025. The Diocesan Commission on Liturgy will hold an Altar Servers’ Day on Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Seminary Gym.

There will be a ₱100.00 registration fee per participant. Parishes and chaplaincies are hereby encouraged to support this initiative and may send a maximum of ten (10) participants.

2. SOLEMNITY OF CHRIST THE KING. This coming November 23, 2025, our Diocese will hold a prayer caravan as part of our ongoing call for justice, accountability, transparency, and conversion. I hereby enjoin all parishes, chaplaincies, religious organizations—both men and women—and all Catholic schools to actively support and participate in this initiative by wearing white, bringing white ribbons, joining the caravan and procession, and attending the Holy Hour and Eucharistic Celebration in your designated station, where we will consecrate our nation to Jesus Christ, our Sovereign King.

Moreover, I encourage all parishes and chaplaincies to hold a Triduum Masses in honor of Christ the King, from November 20 to November 22 and for the clergy to focus their homily on our call for conversion and against corruption. You may also post tarpaulin in your parish ground, proclaiming, “Si Kristo lamang ang Hari sang Bug-os nga Kalibutan – Hari sang Kamatuoran, sang Katarungan, kag Paglaum sang Katilingban.”

3. RED WEDNESDAY. This coming November 26, 2025, the Aid to the Church in Need Philippines will once again commemorate the day of remembrance for our persecuted brothers and sisters in Christ with the theme: “Living Hope Amidst Suffering.”

In this regard, I hereby enjoin all parishes and chaplaincies to participate in the following activities:

a. Celebrate the Votive Mass for Persecuted Christians (Roman Missal, p. 1058) in all parishes, oratories, and Catholic simultaneously at 6 p.m. on November 26, 2025;

b. Encourage churches, schools, Catholic institutions, shrines and seminaries to adorn their premises with red decoration; or illuminate their façades with red.

c. Invite the faithful wear red on that day as a symbol of solidarity with persecuted Christians;

d. Organize a second collecta to be forwarded to the Office of the Diocesan Treasurer who will forward the same to the ACN.

Morever, the Diocese calls for support and active participation for the Diocesan wide caravan on the Solemnity of Christ the King:

As part of our ongoing call to accountability, transparency, justice, and conversion, our Diocese will hold a simultaneous caravan in honor of Christ the King. Please note that this is not a demonstration, but a prayerful rally, where we, the People of God, come together to entrust and consecrate our nation to the sovereign kingship of Jesus Christ.
The diocesan-wide activity aims to:

1. Give thanks for 100 years of the Feast of Christ the King.
2. Consecrate our nation to Christ, the Servant King.
3. Renew our vow to serve with truth and humility.

All parishes, chaplaincies, Catholic schools, and lay and religious organizations are encouraged to participate actively and support this initiative. Participants are encouraged to wear white, bring white ribbons or flags, and personal necessities such as water, a cap, and an umbrella. Placards are not allowed, except for those provided by the coordinating team. There will be no chanting; the caravan will proceed as a Pilgrimage of Hope in prayer.

Participants will gather at one of three designated stations, depending on their vicariate:

• North: For the Vicariates of Victorias and Silay
• South: For the Vicariates of La Carlota, Bago, and Hinigaran
• Central: For the Vicariates of Queen of Peace, Estefania, Murcia, Alijis, Abad, Sum-ag, and San Sebastian

Details regarding the venue for the Holy Hour and Eucharistic Celebration will be provided by your respective vicariate coordinators.

SCHEDULE OF ACTIVITIES:
1:30 PM – Assembly
respective parish grounds for caravans toward respective stations
2:00 PM – Holy Hour
each convergence point will begin their Holy Hour
3:00 PM – Simultaneous Procession
4:00 PM – Benediction,
Concelebrated Mass
Act of Consecration of the Human Race to the Sacred Heart of Jesus

SUGGESTED COMMITTEE ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Social Communication: Coordinate events at the Central Station, including live reporting and photo updates.
2. Marshall and Mobilization: Ensure orderly flow and coordination of the caravan.
3. Logistics: Handle distribution of tarpaulins and placards, and secure permits for the procession.
4. Liturgy: Ensure the smooth and solemn conduct of the procession, caravan, and Eucharistic Celebration. Liturgical rites will be provided by the Diocesan Commission on Liturgy.
5. Medics: Provide medical assistance throughout the procession and caravan, including first aid response, monitoring of participants’ well-being, and coordination with emergency services if needed.

All parishes and chaplaincies are encouraged to celebrate a Triduum Mass in honor of Christ the King with the theme: “Si Kristo lamang ang Hari sang Bug-os nga Kalibutan – Hari sang Kamatuoran, sang Katarungan, kag Paglaum sang Katilingban.”

Suggested themes for reflections and homilies:
• Day 1: Jesus, King of Truth
• Day 2: Jesus, King of Justice
• Day 3: Christ the King, Hope of Our Nation

On November 23, Masses in the afternoon may be rescheduled or cancelled to allow the faithful to participate fully in the diocesan-wide celebration and Concelebrated Mass at the respective stations.

The Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP), through a circular latter issued in October 2025 by its president Cardinal Pablo Virgilio David, has formally invited the faithful to participate in the initiative titled “Sundays in White.” This movement encourages Catholics across the country to wear white garments and display white ribbons or flags in homes, churches, and public spaces every Sunday of October and November.

Prayers are not only words but primarily our personal relationship with the Lord. To strengthen and deepen our relationship with the Lord we need to give value and importance to our prayer life.

Do you believe that God answers our prayers?
We are convinced thru readings that God truly answer prayers.

How God answer our prayers:
1. Yes, speedily or immediately especially if we need it to increase our faith in Him.
2. Maybe, delayed answers because He gives us time to nurture our faith and belief in Him that we need to be patient and wait for His time and way.
3. No, He does not answer our prayer because He has something better for us.

With that, these challenges are posed:
1. Be persistent in prayer
2. Be patient in waiting for God's Answer
3. Trust in God for our prayers

𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙣𝙚𝙬𝙡𝙮 𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙤𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝘽𝙀𝘾 𝙎𝙩𝙖. 𝙍𝙞𝙩𝙖 𝙩𝙤𝙤𝙠 𝙖𝙣 𝙊𝙖𝙩𝙝 yesterday During the BEC Mass where they swore to fulfill their duty and responsibilities to the Church and It's people with outmost sincerity, humility, and love to service.

This embarks and New Journey and a continuous progress for the BEC. May the Lord continue to grant them the strength, humility, and integrity in service to the church, with the intercession of St. Rita.
